Bought the first one as a gift for a child in their school band. Wanted something much more stable than the standard "wire music stand" that are uber portable. The first one has been used nearly daily for several years and is covered in stickers and sparkly dots and paint and nail polish and is not properly b-e-a-utiful and every bit as sturdy and useable as the day it was purchased. The recipients younger sibling was stealing it in order to practice and so it was a no-brainer to buy another one. What I really like: - The top is mounts onto the stand with more than just a friction fit. It fits tightly but then there is a small thumb screw to lock it down. - The extension loosens easily and then locks back down tightly. - The base legs can be extended to different lengths. So the stand can have a narrow, but likely more tippy, leg extension. Or very wide and stable. On the carpet where this is used it was set in the middle on day one and has never been changed. - It comes with a travel bag for portability. As far as I was told this has never been used as the stand stays at home. This music stand is well made, has great finishing details, and is very useable. If one were to die in an accident, but that is the only way it would happen, I would replace it with the same thing without and question.

Purchased previous same Gleem Music Stand. The turn screws, from use, will become stripped and you need to repair. Other than that stand is study and holds heavy song booklets and/or reading materials ... easy to adjust, setup and break down. Love the cell phone holder and all the other accessories, bag, clip, binder. Very reasonably priced, great value. When carrying and transporting, a bit on the heavier side.

bought for my daughter who plays 3 instruments. She is 10 and is able to set it up without help. It seems to be sturdy and holds up well. She is also able to move it around because it breaks down easy and is not heavy.

This isn't like the old school music stands we had as kids. It's fairly sturdy, though mine has a slight tip to it, that i have to keep straightening (or i would have given it 5 stars). I like the springy arms. I can position them wherever i want over my music. It's really great for holding thicker music books. It comes with a folder and clip. I am using those. It also comes with a phone holder. I gave that to my daughter to attach to her drum set. It also comes with a carrying case which i think would be useful if you had to travel with it. I don't; so i can't attest to how long it would hold up. I wish it went taller. You can see the height of it by my guitar. I think it's best for sitting on a stool or chair. If you stand and play, the bottom lines of music may be lower than you prefer. They are for me and I'm 5'-7". Overall, I'd recommend this music stand.

I am amazed at the quality and attention to detail on this music stand and accessories. It is very sturdy, very easy to adjust, and large enough to hold full-size music books.

I do like this stand. My wife also plays an instrument, and she has a different brand, and could not find that one so tried this stand. It's pretty sturdy. I have music books on it, a light clamped on it, and also have an iPad clamp attached so I can have a GEN3 iPad attached to it (those are pretty heavy...my new iPad weighs a 3rd or less than the old ones). The stand wiggles a bit, but it holds everything without any issues. The stand is deep, and also has springy things that hold your books open (as well as a music "chip clip" accessory). I don't take it apart much - it stays pretty much up all of the time. It has yet to drop down or anything - the height clamps stay clamped and no problems. It has 3 legs, and are fairly large to keep it stable, as well as rubber feet that don't let it slide or mark up my hardwood floors. The music holder is metal, so to me, that makes it a bit sturdier (my wife's is plastic). It doesn't fold as compact as others, but the case holds it ok, and I could put my footstool in that case as well, and probably some music and extra stuff. Is it like the old metal stands from when I was in band 30+ years ago? No, but don't really want one of those old things. But it is tons better than those little metal frame ones that shake and bend by just looking at them. It has a bit of a smell when opened. Don't know if it was the case or the paint or something. The paint may have not been fully cured before packing it up, so it did that a bit in route. A day or two and it went away. Typical stuff when purchasing goods from overseas manufacturers. Nice stand...would recommend.

I love it ! This is an absolute must if you play any instrument and are tired of having music sheets or books on a horizontal table trying to read and play at the same time. With this I can finally have my music at exactly the right height and angle for perfect viewing. Why have I waited so long to get this ? Why did I choose this one when there are so many other options and some that are less expensive ? I wanted one with a solid metal plate (not the metal strip ones that have holes in the back or the plastic variety). I also wanted it to be easy and fast to assemble and disassemble. It doesn't get easier than this. It takes about 30 seconds to set it up. Spread the legs of the tripod, attach the metal plate on the tripod to the back of the holding plate and raise the height to whatever you want. That's it. It comes with many accessories that are nice but honestly apart from the bag and maybe the clip I don't think I'll be using any of them. By the way the clip is too short. The width is OK but it doesn't come down low enough on the plate to be truly useful in holding pages, a booklet or whatever IMHO. I really appreciate the two little page holders on springs that are permanently attached to the bottom of the sheet music holder. They are a lot more handy than I thought they would be. All in all it's a very useful and solid purchase at this price point. It's very portable as well.

Fa quello che deve. È pratico e funzionale. Per quel che costa poi con borsa, leggio, porta smartphone, molletta e raccoglitore direi che non c’è da lamentarsi di niente. Certo non stiamo parlando di qualcosa di altissima qualità, con materiali eccellenti e finiture di pregio ma di base una volta impostata l’altezza e poggiato ciò che si deve leggere o guardare, non ha altro da fare. Rimarrà al suo posto e non cadrà a pezzi.

Al principio dudé en adquirirlo porque se puede encontrar el accesorio más económico en otras marcas y ya que sólo se trata de un atril para partituras pues no me convencía el precio. Sin embargo, la calidad y accesorios que incluye : bolsa de almacenamiento, carpeta para partituras, sujetador de partituras y un sujetador para teléfono; hace que valga la pena y uno quede satisfecho con la compra.
