Click to play video [Date of review: 2/1/2025] *DISCLAIMER: This is the review from someone who did NOT pay full price! See end of review for savings.* When I ordered on 1/23, this item at 4.8 stars (37 reviews). When I saw it went down to 4.5 stars, I thought I'd give my two cents as a 35 year old second time mom (NB + 6YO) who pumps every ~2-4 hours and works from home full-time as an attorney-this product is worth it for me! I technically give it 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up. This product is 100% an unnecessary, luxury - for the sake of convenience item. I am one of those people who has no issue with splurging a bit for the sake of convenience, my time, and my sanity! So, to me, the $163.75 that I spent on it - was worth it! I started using this product on Tuesday (1/28/25) and as of 1/31/25, I have used it 12 times to not only wash/sterilize bottles (Dr. Browns (4oz plastics & 8oz glass) & 4oz glass Evenflo), but also my pump parts, pacifiers, medicine cups/syringes, small 8oz glass storage jars, and as you can see in the pics/video, regular glassware. Here are my thoughts after four days of using it (average 3/day). CONS: - Breast pump parts are awkward to place and even though they fit, when washing them, I fit less items in there (this is where they lost 1/2 star from me). It's kinda like playing Tetris sometimes. - Must be next to "draining source" - I just keep mine beside the sink. That bothers some people - it does not bother me. - It's a tad heavy and depending on your size/strength, it can be difficult to unbox/carry - Not cons for me, but I can see others having an issue: the noise & size/amount of space it takes up PROS: - Has 4 different modes. I have only used the Speedy auto cycle (81 minutes to wash + sterilize + dry). I saw a review say they didn't like that there wasn't a "dry only" cycle, that's not true. To only dry your products, select "Storage" for 60 minutes of drying + 72 hours of storage! - It comes with 60 little dishwasher tablets. Grownsy sells them separately - 130 for less than $20. - "Semi-loud" - I see complaints re: the noise it makes. It's literally a miniature dishwasher, so I didn't expect it to whisper like a Dyson fan. I only use the 81 minute auto cycle and it's the loudest right when it starts and towards the end of the cycle. My office shares the wall with the bathroom and I don't hear it from my office. - The instructions suggest using distilled/purified water, I'm using regular North Carolina tap water and it works perfectly for me. None of my items have looked cloudy or unclean at the end of the auto cycle - I saw someone say they had issues with the buttons, the only time the buttons gave me a hard time is when the top lid was not pressed down all the way. - Useful after the baby/bottle stage. I plan to use for my regular glassware I use throughout my work day, as well as sippy cups, teething toys, etc. - I really appreciate the sterilization storage feature because my newborn was born at the end of December and my 6YO is CONSTANTLY sick and bringing home his gross kindergarten germs. Like I said, this is a luxury item of convenience! Since my husband's gaming loft, our kids' playroom, and my home office is located on the 2nd floor of our home, my family spends ~90% of our time up there versus the 1st floor where the kitchen and dishwasher are located. Going up and down those stairs constantly (post 2nd c-section at that) got old and tine consuming very quickly. I was already having to stop working to feed, pump, prep formula bottles, etc. I decided to spurge for the sake of convenience and my sanity, so I specifically got this DeepClean bottle washer, Baby Brezza formula dispenser, and bottle warmer for our upstairs to keep the mini fridge and microwave company :) *HOW I SAVED ~$120* At the time that I ordered (1/23/25), it was priced at $269.99 w/ a $40 promotional Amazon coupon. I also got an additional 20% off using the promo code: StarSky30. I found two additional 20% promo codes from YouTube influencers reviewing the product: "Madison225A" and "Macwasher33." After taxes and an additional $25 Amazon gift card, I spent a total of $163.75. At the time of this review, Amazon raised the price to $279.99, but it currently has a $50 coupon. The $40 coupon disappeared the day before I ordered and was back the next morning, so I'd keep an eye out for the coupons before purchasing!

This is absolutely worth it! I EBF with a few bottles and pump parts here and there and felt it necessary to save time on the washing. If you are going to buy an electric sterilizer and dryer, spend the extra $ and just get the whole bottle washer. IT. IS. WORTH. IT.

4 stars because it leaves a lot of water spots. Otherwise, this is a great product. It isn’t slightly heavy but it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. The hose goes into the sink to allow the water to drain. It is slightly loud but anything to disturb your baby if sleeping and already used to sounds. Great price for all of the functions. You can choose the full 81 min wash, dry, sterilize, & storage or use the functions individually. Storage for 72 hrs it keeps everything dry and sterilized. It comes with a lot of tablets for cleaning. I typically use the auto function twice a day since I can’t fit all of my bottles and flanges in 1 cycle. I would estimate 2 flanges & the parts, 2 bottles and parts, and 1-2 pacifiers depending on how you load the washer

I liked it at first. It unfortunately has a small capacity (with the size of our bottles, I can fit 5-6 bottles/flanges per load), which I wish were bigger. However I like that it’s glass and I can see inside during washes. It gets nice and hot which you can feel from the outside. It takes about a gallon of distilled water, which seems like a lot compared to other brands. The reason for the 1 star is that after 2 months, using 1-2 times per day, the plastic is disintegrating. The tall stalk in the middle that shoots the water out of the top snapped off (I was barely touching it when this occurred). I took out the whole plastic rack to inspect it and another plastic piece crumbled off in my hand. Very disappointing after only 2 months of use. You’d think they’d use a dishwasher grade rack that can hold up to the heat. If they made a replacement rack for $20, I would consider buying that every 2 months (shame about more plastic going in the landfill) but alas they don’t sell replacement parts so I’ll be buying a different brand I believe.

It stopped working properly after 2 weeks. I loved being able to use it when it did work but unfortunately it stopped drying, then started leaking water, and stopped sterilizing then eventually stopped running the entire wash cycle. I ran it twice in the evening and once in the morning. You also have to manually turn it off, if not the drying/storage cycle just keeps going. I’ll be returning for refund so that helps. Customer service was amazing.

Click to play video UPDATE: Grownsy customer service reached out to offer a refund for the leaky unit I got. So giving back some stars for the excellent after sales follow up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I also own Grownsy’s EaseClean and that is a better bottle washer overall than this one for cleaning effectiveness and ease of use. However, I wanted a second bottle washer in the bathroom close to the nursery where counter space is limited and another EaseClean wouldn’t fit. I also liked that the washing enclosure is glass, though be aware that everything else is still plastic if you’re concerned about microplastics exposure from hot water and steam. Likes: + takes less counter space vs EaseClean + glass washing enclosure that can be lifted off and easily cleaned when needed Dislikes: - takes longer and is more complicated to load/unload because of its tall/narrow design vs EaseClean - nonremovable water tank that cannot be easily cleaned - super loud vs EaseClean - started constantly leaking after about a month Despite its shortcomings, I was generally satisfied with it…until it leaked a tank full of water all over my bathroom. TLDR: Get the EaseClean or other brand bottle washer instead
