The spiral dough hook fits and works perfectly on my Kitchen Aid Tilt head mixer. I have much experience with the traditional C shaped dough hook and decided to compare with the spiral. So far I have made 3 batches of dough, one was a large stiff pizza dough with great results. There was much less pausing to reposition the dough compared to the C shaped hook. The build quality is very good and should out live the mixer. It fit perfectly with no adjustment of the mixer necessary.

This is a great mixer beater for the money. I put it in the top rack of my dishwasher and it still looks good. I have had the white coating ones in the past and they have chipped!!! This will not chip. I did have to move the kitchen aid mixer height to accommodate this beater as I felt it was "touching the bottom of the bowl" as it spun. A quick height adjustment on the Kitchen Aid did the trick. I would recommend this product.

Fits my 4.5 quart Kitchenaid mixer perfectly and I don’t have to worry about the paint flaking off in my food. Yes, it’s more expensive than the white ones but it should last forever. Definitely worth the splurge.
