I am reviewing the Glorious Model I for Minecraft PVP and bridging. Starting off the shape the shape of the Model I is a right-handed ergonomic shaped mouse. (Ergonomic means a mouse has a shape that’s only meant to be used with your right/left hand). It feels very comfortable for palm grip so if you butterfly click with palm grip you will probably like the shape of this mouse. The model I has 4 side buttons only on the left side so if you want to hotkey with them this mouse can do that, you can also remove these side buttons if you don’t like them. The Model I is comfortable for claw grip and is a good shape for that grip as well for fingertip grip in my opinion. I don’t think the shape is as safe as something like the Logitech G Pro X Superlight because the superlight is an ambidextrous shape (a shape that can be used with both of your hands). The build quality is good on my copy, no creaking/flexing at all and when you shake the mouse you can’t hear a thing. The only bad thing with the build quality of the Model I, is that there is a bit of side play on the left and right click but not enough for you to notice it when you’re playing. The clicks of the mouse are pretty light but not nearly as good as the Logitech G Pro X Superlight’s clicks. The mouse is good for jitter and awesome for butterfly clicking and it can easily fit two fingers on the mouse if you have medium sized hands. The Model I also has software where you can change the debounce time all the way to 0ms making it able to double click and drag click. The surface for the mouse is pretty good for drag clicking but if it wears off, grip tape, electrical tape or masking tape (which ever one you prefer) can help. The CPS (clicks per second) I can get with this mouse while jitter clicking is 13-16 with butterfly clicking is 14-20 and with drag 40-70. The Model I is also good for Minecraft bridging due to it being able to both stay in place and move around really well with its feet. The Model I’s glide is good on my mouse pad but if you don’t like them you could buy other mouse feet. The model I’s scroll wheel feels really good and satisfying to scroll on and the side buttons also feel good as well. For Minecraft telly bridging (jumping off the edge and spamming blocks) it is great in my opinion and use. For PVP the mouse feels very good and because of the 69-gram weight it is very easy to aim with and fun to PVP. The mouse is wired and if you don’t really like wired mice as much, you can also get the model I 2 which is wireless. Overall, the model I is a good mouse and can be the endgame mouse for a lot of people. The $60 price tag (it’s $60 where I live) is justifiable it in my opinion especially because some other mice that are just as good and sometimes worse are priced higher then the model I.

Pleasantly surprised by this mouse. If you're looking for a lightweight gaming mouse with a thumb support, that isn't bloated with a bunch of extra buttons and gimmicky features like a tilt wheel this is the way to go. One of the low rated reviews mentioned their DPI was resetting every time they restarted their PC - this is not an issue for me, it retains all of my settings on PC restart. Another low rated review mentioned that the left and right clicks feel different, and left click had a double click feel to it, this is also not an issue for me. Both left and right click feel solid mechanical clicks. 5/5 mouse for me

If you've bought a Glorious product in the past you know the drill. The mouse itself is great, the ergonomics are much better than the ambidextrous Model O, the sensor is accurate and responsive, the body is super light, and the buttons feel good and stand up to abuse. Unfortunately, as is always the case with Glorious, the software that controls the mouse is awful and janky, sometimes failing at the most basic of tasks like determining what firmware version is flashed on the mouse. If you were thinking of using a third party tool like Piper to handle bindings, think again because under the hood this mouse has half of its buttons attached to an entirely separate device id which prevents them from being exposed to the system or third party programs as mouse buttons. If you have an 80% or smaller keyboard you can work around this by using the awful Glorious software to map them to keys not physically present on your keyboard and use those keys as bindings in games or whatever. If you don't care about any of the above software issues then the mouse is an easy 5/5. It's competitive in performance and comfort with much more expensive mice.

UPDATE: I would like to say how good the support at Glorious is. They are responsive, understanding, and helpful. Not every brand can say that, but I appreciate how much they care about their end user. I've tried multiple Glorious mice in the past, both wired and wireless. In the past, connectivity between the mouse and dongle has been an issue. That persists currently, and I had to move my dongle to the front of my PC instead of on the I/O. The battery lasts two to three days whether I turn it off, leave it on. There doesn't seem to be a sleep feature or battery saver when the PC is off. Which brings me to the software/firmware. It is very lackluster and not as easy to navigate as something comparative like Logitech. It's better than Corsair or Razer in my opinion, but far from the best. As for the actual performance of the mouse when it is connected and does have a charge, it does well. It's snappy, the DPI is able to be honed in to your preference, and the buttons feel good to click. It's ultra light, and every button on the mouse is within reach without having to contort my hand. Ultimately, if you don't mind a dongle smack dab on the front of your PC and are willing to charge it overnight or once every couple of days, it's a solid product. I just can't rate it higher for those reasons.

Very disappointing lifespan. I have had this mouse for about 3 months, and it is already developing an constant issue with double clicking. This mouse is not used for 10 hours a day and not in high clicking based games. So I cant fathom why it has already started to show this kind of issue. I bought this mouse as a replacement to a Logitech mouse that had a similar issue, but that was after nearly a year and a half of use. Not sure if I have received a lemon, but it is unacceptable for an issue like double clicking to appear after 3 months of mild/medium usage, especially for a mouse made with gaming in mind. Other than the double clicking, this mouse was great. The software could use work, but the lightness and good battery life were awesome. So the issue makes it that much more disappointing.

The 2.4GHz receiver seems to struggle with interference. I had consistent stuttering issues that weren't massive, but very noticeable in precise games like CS2. They were nearly impossible to resolve, but didn't present themselves in wired mode. I spent several hours troubleshooting myself and I also contacted support and exhausted their troubleshooting steps, but neither option worked. After doing everything I could to fix the stuttering, I resorted to the nuclear option and disabled 2.4GHz entirely on my router, which finally fixed it. I imagine whatever noise filter is in the receiver is just terrible at filtering out noise on the 2.4GHz band, meaning that even if the router adapts to use another part of the band, the receiver still doesn't filter the noise out, leading to stuttering. So yeah the receiver absolutely sucks. Luckily I don't have any devices that require 2.4GHz WiFi, but many people do, and you shouldn't have to disable 2.4GHz on your router for your mouse to work properly. As for the mouse itself, it's great! I really likethe build quality and weight, I love that it has 4 side buttons in a more conventional shape than most other mice with >2 side buttons. I think I'd prefer if the mouse didn't have holes though, even if it would lead to some additional weight. Also the battery time isn't great. It lasts like 2 days on a single charge with all the lighting turned off, but for some reason it stays on when my PC is off, so it dies pretty quickly.

Very nice. Full disclosure, the first unit I received was faulty (it kept resetting itself) but Amazon replaced it quickly. I was a G502 enjoyer for years and having seen this wireless ergonomic mouse from glorious I thought I would give it a try and I am very happy with it. It's very comfortable, more so than the G502 and very lightweight for an ergonomic mouse. Buttons feel good. The plastic has a nice soft touch/matte finish to it. In use, it's great. I use it mainly for FPS games and performs really well. It took a while to get used to the weight and feel of it but I am glad I took a chance on it. You can assign whatever keys/actions you want to the various mouse buttons via the software. There is no automatic game game detection but you can set multiple profiles. I set the RGB to specific colours so I can easily see which profile I am currently using. At the time of writing this, there seems to be some issues with the latest version of glorious core so I am using the legacy version (1.1.36). The mouse works fine with the software and did all the firmware updates, etc..
