That was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Utterly captivating! Hands down one of Rina’s greatest work. I can’t count how many times my chest hurt for Brandon & Nikolai. The way the story was written was amazing and I found myself fully invested and immersed in their love story. I can’t believe their story is over just like that. I vote for another book about them—this time with them just living happily together, cause you bet that you I want to see both of them happy after everything they went through ♥️ The way Rina delved into the topics of this book (make sure to check the TW just in case it’s not for you) was absolutely brilliant. The details she went with creating Brandon’s personality was incredible. It was so amazing that every time Brandon spiralled down and had “those” thoughts, I teared up and might have used a lot of tissue supply. Absolutely in love with Brandon. Nikolai & him has got to be the most well-written character in the Rina Kent Universe, and I will hold onto this ship till my last breath cause you bet that I have officially joined “Protect Niko & Bran” Club. Those 2 deserve everything and more for all the suffering they went through 😭 Nikolai was an absolute menace. In a refreshing and lovable way. I can’t count how many times I burst out laughing at his inner dialogue or when he becomes a little “lost” in his “delusions” 😂 The man was persistent, but was still respectful in a way. Love LOVE that about him. Love his character and personality. I love everything about him. Love that he became understood Bran and went out of his way to support him and give him what he needs. Love that he was attentive and caring. Love that he gave Bran the push he needed, and absolutely in love with how he avenge his lotus flower. I just…I love him 🥺 He’s absolutely an amazing character ♥️ This is hands down gonna be one of my top read this year. The way this story was written was so amazingly tragic but hot as well. Rina did wonderful with this book. A MUST READ for me cause I’m certainly gonna re-read this again in the future. I can’t say this enough cause I’m utterly blown away by how in love I am with this book. This is her first M/M but she did amazing with it ♥️ Kudos to Rina ♥️🫡

I haven't read the other books in this series, but the author does a masterful job of laying out the backstory seamlessly--which is no small feat, considering the number of supportive characters and couples. But it's Nikolai and Brandon who absolutely captured my heart and truly shined. I'm generally not a fan of 1st person POV, but it's used masterfully here. The main characters in dark romances often come off as one-dimensional, but both Nikolai and Brandon are anything but. There are flashes of humor and snark, confusion, anger, frustration, and vulnerability, yet these manifest very differently between both men. There are content warnings in the beginning of the story that should be heeded; I don't want to detail/spoil them here, except to say that while possessiveness and jealousy and some power play occurred throughout the relationship, nothing was ever non-consensual between Nikolai and Brandon, and for a very good reason. The sexual tension and sex itself was scorching hot, and I'm blown away knowing this was the author's first MM fic. But as hot as it was, it was Brandon's heartwrenching portrayal (and Nikolai's ability to break through both their barriers) that held me in its grip. I devoured this in a day and am simultaneously saddened that it's over but happy that they got their beautiful ending.

If it was for the story alone this would be a 5 star, but it’s a 4.5 because the writing is a little childish at times. Bran is struggling with something no one knows about and hates himself. It makes him very meticulous and schedule driven. He’s never been a sexual person with men or woman and thinks he’s asexual, that is until he meets Nikolai. Nikolai is a prince of the mafia and openly bi. He’s loud and jokes and unapologetically himself. When he sets his eyes on Brandon there’s no stopping him. Male on male isn’t usually what i read but when i tell you this story took my breath away. I loved how Nikolai pushed Bran out of his comfort zone and loved him so openly and unconditionally even when he didn’t love himself. And Bran being so protective of Nikolai and cooking for him and making sure Nikolai’s taken care of. Are they complete opposites? Yes. But does it somehow work? Yes. They bring out the absolute best versions of themselves together and both grew as people so much during this story. And don’t even get me started on the tattoos they got. This was funny in parts and made me cry in others. The spice was good and spicy. Def the best in the series I’ve read so far.

I feel so lost as to what to write, I have pages of thoughts, feelings, quotes, etc. but I don’t think there’s really anything I can write that will accurately portray what an absolute masterpiece & how perfect God of Fury is. We finally have answers to so many of the fill-in-the-blanks that we’ve been treated to since the beginning of the series. Niko & Bran were everything I didn’t know I needed & wanted in my life. I have never considered picking up a MM romance until this one. This book consumed me🖤 Nikolai is violence on steroids, completely unhinged & has quite the potty mouth. Everything he does & says is absolutely deranged, taunting, hilarious and downright sinful. Now Niko has his own demons that he does not shy away from nor does he hide, what you see is what you get with him. - “No one can resist my undivided attention and constant pushing and shoving and annoying the fu**ing bejesus out of them.” Bran has worked hard to bury his demons & perfect the face everyone on the outside will see, caged & shackled himself to protect everyone but him.. All that changed when Niko literally bulldozed his way into Bran’s life & forced him to feel. - “Wanting him is a painful struggle. Wanting him is ripping a hole in the very marrow of my existence and making me question everything.” These two were perfect for each other & complete one another. They’re so opposite & it just works for them. “Nikolai!” “Yes, baby?”❤️‍🔥 There’s plenty of chaos, heartbreak & laugh out loud moments that will leave your heart on the floor & mind in a puddle, begging for someone to mend it immediately. There are numerous heartfelt moments between; - Friends - Family - & of course Niko & Bran This book is effortlessly funny & I will always get a kick out of Xander calling Jeremy a lizard🦎 To say I loved God of Fury is an understatement, I felt every emotion under the sun for Niko and his Lotus Flower🪷, I cried, laughed & yelled. I think this one had the best character development for everyone involved. This was beautifully& tastefully done, & will be a book I reread until my hearts content♥️

I LOVE IT. It was my first time reading a mm book and i think i couldnt have started with a better book. Really recommend reading it.

Libro stupendo. Letto tutto di un fiato, è stata una montagna russa di emozioni indescrivibili. Una storia d'amore con il setting del Dark romance più perfetta non esiste. Niko e Bran saranno per sempre nel mio cuore.
