Got it for the GF and she has used it for the past year and she loves it. First pixel phone and has served her well. Snappy enough for her needs and hasnt lagged for her. Charges fast enough (no such thing as charging to fast but its good enough). Battery life is good for her too. Pictures it takes are great. Do wish it had wireless charging but at this cheap of a price its to be expected to not have it. Good size for her hands.

Better than I expected! First of all, the phone is flawless. ZERO scratches, dings or damage of any kind. Second, it's advertised as "doesn't include charger", but mine came with a brand new cable and charger in original wrapping. Third, some people are saying these phones are NOT unlocked, and while this one shows "Xfinity Moble" in the SIM/ESIM menu, it does in fact allow ESIMs from other carriers to be installed and activated. I know because I tested it on a real (very cheap) ESIM that I bought for use in the Philippines. If this phone were really locked to a carrier, there's no way it would have allowed the activation of this ESIM from another carrier. And Last, the battery must be brand new, because it lasts and lasts. So happy with this phone! Great deal for the price!!!

Received the phone as described, no major issues in hardware other than the frequent "power button bug" a lot of pixels get at some point. Have no problems with service for a few months until my mobile provider is doing some upgrades on how they distribute service and suddenly the device no longer receives data at all. After talking with the service provider they investigate the phone and discover that it's not fully unlocked and therefore can't connect to certain to every service network, despite being described as such on the Amazon store. At this point I have a device that will become functionally useless to me if I cannot unlock it myself. Since the device is outside of the warranty window the seller has told me that it is no longer available for return, which is not my concern, I just want the phone to work as described.

My Pixel 4a 5g was my favorite phone be until it died a week ago. This phone wasn't much more expensive than buying a replacement for the 4a 5g, and it will receive security updates for a few more years, so I decided to upgrade. The processor is definitely quicker (although the 4a 5g was actually also plenty fast.) Battery life is pretty good, at least as good as what I had. The one very annoying downside is the fingerprint sensor. It only seems to work about 50% of the time. Google 's back mounted sensor was very, very reliable. This under-screen sensor stinks. If I wash my hands, then dry them with a towel, the sensor doesn't work. If my hands are too dry, the sensor doesn't work. If I look at the phone the wrong way while trying to unlock it... you get the idea. I wish Google would just return to the rear mounted sensor that works and stop trying to mirror what everyone else is doing. People buy these for pure android simplicity. Sensors that just work are simply better.

I was initially hesitant to try an older model, refurbished phone, but I’ve now bought two of these in “renewed/refurbished - excellent condition,” and I would highly recommend them. Both work like new, though the second one arrived with a small ding, and its charger didn’t work. I contacted Amazon, and they immediately offered to send me a replacement or provide a partial refund. The phone takes great photos, even when zoomed out, though it’s not the best for low-light or night shots. The main drawback is the battery life—it dies very quickly, even when not in use. Both phones usually lasted me less than a day, even in battery saver mode and with deliberate efforts to conserve battery. I recommend setting up “Find My Phone” in advance or giving Google permission to track your location. I hadn’t set it up and lost my phone; when I tried to find it, Google could only track it to locations I’d visited days before. Google does offer the option to display a message across your screen and make it buzz loudly if someone nearby can hear it. However, these features are only available for a short time after the battery dies, and unfortunately, I didn’t notice it was missing until it was already too late. Although still a bit pricey, I liked the phone enough to buy it again!

Other reviews outside of Amazon are pretty exact. The battery life seems to be short but the same benefits of a Pixel phone are still present. Android will continue to provide updates at least for another year so this is a decent choice if you a looking for a high quality, inexpensive phone.

Our phone stopped working shortly after the warrantee expired, after three months of use. It is completely unusable, constantly restarts, and will not connect to wifi, despite no external damage. This is extremely disappointing from an Amazon renewed seller. When I contacted them for help, they refused to offer any assistance or suggestions.

En mi caso el teléfono llegó impecable en su aspecto físico. Ni un solo daño visible. Funciona correctamente el táctil y cámaras. Yo lo uso para lo básico por lo que es casi un avión para tareas como mail o redes. El cargador genérico no fue de mi agrado pero funciona. El único detalle es que la carga es lenta y se calienta demasiado durante la carga. No sé si esto es normal pero hasta ahora no ha fallado.
