Obsessed with my pixel watch. I am a pixel phone user as well, so love that it connects with my Google fit and my Fitbit app. Lots of apps available on it, as well as phone answering and texting. Gps works great! I use it mostly to track my vitals and workouts. But my ring camera also connects to it and shows me when someone is at my door. Only negative is that the battery doesn't last long--maybe a day and a half. However, it charges quickly and I just set it on the charger while I do my makeup and get ready for my morning and it's almost fully charged by then. Lots of clock face customization too.

My doctor recommended an Apple watch for heart monitoring but I am in the Google realm so this was my watch of choice. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a smart watch so this one seemed reasonable for what it does. Overall, I do like the watch and wear it daily. I charge it at night and if I forget then in the morning when I get up. This tracks all kinds of stuff and is just a great way to see what I am doing activity wise. Also the heart monitor was helpful... And lastly I like that you can customize it and change the face with free / paid faces on the google store. One thing to do ASAP is switch out the band with a breathable non-silicon type of band.

This watch is an upgrade from any Fitbit model in my opinion. I can easily access my contacts and create a message or call someone directly from my watch if I can't get to my phone. I find the step count more accurate than Fitbit while pushing a baby stroller. It charges using a magnetic charger via Type-C and charges within about an hour. The battery doesn't last as long as I'd like but it doesn't bother me unless I forget to charge my watch in the morning. It keeps track of my heart rate and monitors for any irregular signs. Very decent way for the value!

So I quickly learned after getting the watch a few days ago to go into the watch's settings, click battery, and turn on the battery saver. To have your watch come on, you gently tap the screen or press the crown button. This has greatly improved the battery life. But YOU shouldn't have to do that with a watch that costs this much. On the plus side, you can change just about every setting imaginable, and the Fitbit is a nice touch (despite most of the good features behind a subscription service). That's called Google greed. You'll get used to it. They're a monopoly for a reason. Using it to make and receive calls is awesome. Got a call the other day and was able to talk as I washed the dishes. No earbuds are required. The person who called me said the audio was great. I highly recommend this if you don't mind the craptacular battery life. I'm surprised they didn't fix it with a software update. Something is feasting on the power. Or they went with the lowest bidder for parts. Oh, if you have fat fingers or medium-sized ones, forget about the keyboard. LOL. You'll need a stylus (yes they work). The speech-to-text is very good but you have to remember to say "period" or "comma" when composing messages. If you don't, it'll be one long sentence without proper punctuation. You can even say "heart emoji" and it'll insert that. You can also go back and edit the message with your fingers and use the keyboard to correct mistakes. I'll update my review if needed and the longer I use it. Oh, the ECG works and is very cool. Even the sleep monitor caught my apnea.

I got this on a Black Friday sale and was happy with the price. I would not be happy with its normal price. PROS (WATCH): I mostly like the watch itself. The UI is comparatively intuitive. The display is bright, colorful, and readable. Its a bit big for my tastes, but that does make the display more readable for my old eyes. PROS (FITBIT): I appreciated that the watch allowed me to use the Fitbit app (where all my historical data lives). The integration seems fairly solid. CONS (WATCH): Sadly, the band pretty much ruins the watch. It is remarkably uncomfortable. I oscillate between it being too tight and too loose. It makes my wrist sweat. There is a Google-branded sports band, which is poorly reviewed, costs 1/3 as much as the watch itself, and has a plastic clasp. Seriously, how hard would it be to punch some holes in the original band so my wrist can get some air? Attaching/detaching the bands is unnecessarily difficult. Though, I do like how firm the attachment seems. The overall selection of bands is also very limited. Its just a bunch of different manufacturers peddling copies of the same style band over and over. The battery life is not impressive. Plan on charging it every morning when you wake up. CONS (FITBIT): Google would not allow me to pair both my Pixel Watch 2 and my Charge 5 with the Fitbit app. So, instead of being able to use each for what it is good at. I'm stuck trying to make one watch do everything and the other watch becomes an expensive paperweight. Since Google's acquisition of Fitbit, the quality of the Fitbit app has dropped dramatically. Meaningful colors are gone in a wash of monochrome sameness. Useful statistics are now difficult to find and require a lot of taps/swipes to reach.

Like brand new, box was a little tore up but watch is flawless and was able to connect to LTE with no issues. Glad and band was clean and without scuffs or scratches. Charge last about a full day and night sleep will put it on charger for about 30 min to an hour before bed to get a 100% charge and typically will last all day long pending how many notifications I get.

I have enjoyed using this watch. It is lightweight and comfortable. It is easy to use. The battery charges quickly and it lasts for about two days.

I had been using the watch for a few months and with each upgrade Google make really good improvements, on the software that's give you a better user experience. However, the only thing that is really bad, in comparison with all the companion sports apps that other smartwatches have is Fitbit... Come on!! A really good watch with a poor app...

En fait cette montre dépasse mes attentes, elle est conviviale, un écran tactile, des applications vraiment utiles et à prix intéressant pour ce qu'elle permet de faire. Connectivité facile aussi.

Click to play video This is both my first Pixel Watch (former Apple Watch 8) and first serious review as I have quite a bit of experience with smartwatches. The Pixel Watch brings so much to the table that you didn't thinknyou needed, but falls short in small areas. Here's what I think 2 weeks in: Pros: - The Display: It's vibrant, bright, clear and (unfortunately tested against doorknobs and washing machines) quite durable. - Durability: As with the display, it seems very well constructed. - Home integration: it's seamlessly integrated into the quick access menu and there a widget for a larger view. It works very well for controlling simple devices (best with lights, smart switches), more complex devices (volume control on a specific device, use of the remote on the watch, etc) is best left to your phone. - Fitbit feature integration: truly the proper implementation of fitness on a watch. The customization of the menus, the wide widget choice, and face options create a personal experience. Meh: - Battery life: It's very much average for battery. I find it's slightly better than the Apple Watch 8. Remember that it's a smartwatch so 24 hour battery life is the limit (Apple Watch as a competitor hits the same mark for $200 more). - Fitbit Premium: Thankfully it comes with a year free, but paying extra for possibly irrelevant data may not be worth it for you. - Strap Connector: It serves it function, but if it's not on your wrist it clicks as though it's not secured fully. It always is so that not a worry though the noise when using other straps can give it a cheap feel. - Software: A 90% complete product is phenomenal but some of that 10% is basic. Assistant at times will not connect, your watch can unlock your phone but not the other way around (it's been locked for hours on my arm without noticing - it doesn't buzz or notify). Can use some polishing. - Cons: - Charging: it's fast which is ideal, but it needs to be set exclusively in ONE way (as shown in the photo). I've missed a few charges by not lining it up properly. - Strap Selection: if you're like me, you're immediately thinking of the band you want before your watch arrives. The selection is unfortunately very low in quantity and quality. There are some good ones out there, but they can be expensive (if in Canada, import fees are added as most come from the US). - Original band sizing: It seems as though, for those with smaller wrists, each rung is either too loose or way too tight. It's personal of course, but forms a lower quality first impression. - Watch Faces: using 3rd party apps uses quite a bit of battery and resources, slowing things down. The selection from their options are 90% analog (due to the round shape), which can be cluttered or boring. - Quick Menu: the one area you can't customize is the one you would most want to. For now, there are quite a few functions (water lock, theatre mode, lock mode, auto brightness on/off) are specific from person to person, but cannot be changed. Boo Google, boo. I would buy it again, but Google is known for having hardware issues down the road so we'll see how it holds up. Nothing is perfect, so still 5 stars!
