My puppy tore a hole through the bottom of our dog pool. I applied a small piece of this tape to both sides of the pool and had no leaks overnight. It's strong and flexible. As others have said, once it's on, it's on. So make sure you put it in the right spot. The sticky side of the tape has a clear protective layer you have to peel off before placing it. This helps a lot because you can modify the size and adjust the shape before actually applying it to your project. I'm bringing some of this on a fishing trip in case my waders leak. I don't know if it will work, but it's better than nothing in a pinch. It says it will not stick to waterproof items, so I'll put it on the inside if I need it.

This stuff is amazing!! My kids had a 3 person slip and slide that popped a couple holes. I put this over the holes (that had water flowing under them mind you) and got 2 more years out of it!! Definitely waterproof. We bought more this time to try and fix our above ground pool that had a rip in the vinal. Figured it's worth a shot for a cheaper solution instead of buying a new pool first.

Crappy pool liner installer overcut the water return hole. I asked several above ground pool groups what could be done. They offered many solutions and quite a few products but THIS TAPE was mentioned the most. I'm so glad I purchased it!! I cut out my patch, installed it under water and that patch, so far, has held up 1 entire season with heavy pool use - looking for more seasons before I'll need to replace it. Just go ahead and buy this amazing product, don't look any further. This is the CURE you NEED for water leaks!!

I bought this for a leaky pipe in my backyard. It was easy to apply and seems to work. Only gave it four stars because it took a couple of tries to get it right. I bought the black one not clear in case that makes a difference. It is very sticky and a perfect width.

I used it to seal a leaky terrarium after forgetting to seal it inside with silicone beforehand. It leaked a tiny bit for an hour or so but then it's held well. It's easy to apply and it feels strong

So far so good! Waterproof tape is keeping two pin hole leaks from leaking. Here are the steps my wife and I took to help ensure tape held on the dry and wet side of the pool wall. Step 1: I applied pressure over hole from the inside of pool filled with water with finger to stop hole from leaking. Step 2: Then my wife placed tape over hole on the outside of pool. Step 2: So not to lose the location of the hole I kept my finger over the hole on the water side while my wife gave me another piece of tape to place over the hole that was under water. Yes, we put the tape over the hole that was in the water and it is holding up so far.

I am taking a chance on this. Its not like I am going up on the roof after every rain and see how well its doing. Roof shingles would normally seem to be a craft that has been pretty well figured out by now, but you can find a thousand different opinions on what is required to make a leakproof connection to your roof when required. Our top of the line shingle manufacture won't honor their warranty at all if anything is done to their after installed roof system. They don't even want anybody up there to inspect it. I will need to make some contact points in the spring and might re-review this after I check out the performance of this product.

I had only one tiny hole spurting water on the seam of the side and the bottom. I couldn’t find the patch that came with the pool, so I was hoping for some sort of solution. So far, after one week, so good! I will add, be conscious about where you set the tape roll when not in use. It is so sticky that you’ll ruin any paper or susceptible materials with the adhesion of the side of the tape. ______________________________________________ Okay, so this is Gorilla Tape. Gorilla tape works, we all know this. But what about underwater? So my brand spanking new vinyl liner pool decides to spring not one, not two, but three leaks on its first fill up. 3000 gallons of water to fill this thing up, I wasn't going to empty it! I live in a desert, I felt guilty enough filling it up, emptying it out to fix a hole and then refilling, no way. So I researched a ton of different patches and came across this product here on Amazon. The reviews were weird. Yes, I read them just like you are doing now. Some say it didn't stick at all? Another says it comes off the roll really loose. Here is the scoop - there is an error on the directions for this tape. So, let's do two things here together - One, know you are not wasting your time, get this product. Right now, don't waste time! Two, read below on a couple of important but easy steps on using it. 1) The directions tell you to cut off the piece you want and then round the corners. Here is something important: Do NOT - guys, read that again - do NOT - use your wife's good scissors or the ones in your knife rack. Don't do it guys. The residue left behind was like crazy glue. It sticks! Your best bet is using a decent pair of scissors and making your cuts in one smooth motion. This will prevent goo from getting on your scissors. 2) AFTER cutting, get to where you need to place the tape and then REMOVE the transparent liner over the sticky part of the tape. The directions never tell you to remove this liner! Well, to those people with the negative reviews, they didn't remove the liner. Once you remove it, watch out - it is sticky as can be! Try not to touch the sticky part!! We took the tape, sticky exposed, went underwater, and stuck that bad boy right where the pool was leaking. Pressed all the air out, pressed down on the edges, then just stood on it for a few minutes. Did this for all three holes and not one has leaked again. Okay, so it isn't as pretty as some of the other patches, it is a big black piece of tape. But it works and works fast and it is easy. Buy with confidence.

This stuff works great. I have used it to waterproof truck windows, seal fabric on my ice tent and stop leaks on my aluminum boat. Once on- it is good on all weather. I have purchased over a dozen rolls- best stuff. Once on- it stays put.

Have a mobile home, leaking roof! Used this as a last resort - knocks the crap out of the competitors! This was the 3rd attempt using various other products - all the others peeled off and/or failed to stop the leaks. This stuff? I reckon you could tow a car with it!! And it is less than half the price of it's main competitor
