This is a good paint gun that generates a good spray pattern with a lot of pressure available so you do not need to thin your paint. You have to have a really good seal everywhere, bleed the container and fully prime the machine and rebleed the bag before you spray. I used SW Superpaint today unthinned on an exterior door and only needed the gun on 4 to get a good spray pattern with one coat coverage with dark red over white with the supplied 314 tip. Also make sure that your paint is poured through a filter, dont release the trigger until the entire pass is done and test the pattern before each new pass to see if you need to clear the tip or adjust the pressure. Watch some videos to see what a feathered edge with no tails looks like so that you have a good spray pattern and use the minimum pressure to acheive this.

I could not get it to work. I watched the start up vid and read the manual. Primed the gun and it squirted one time for 1 second. I couldn’t get it to go any further. Tried it with both fully charged batteries. Even bought a gallon of that blue armor stuff to clean it. Had to use a paint brush and roller.

I used the sprayer once and followed the storage instructions exactly. When I used it again 4 months later it would not work and leaked a mess all over. After calling Graco, they said it required servicing. It turns out that the tip was cross threaded. The design is such that it’s screwing metal into plastic which is easy to cross thread. The result was I had to drive it 30 mins to a repair shop and they charged me $100 to fix it and it’s not covered under warranty. I would not recommend this sprayer based on how fragile it is and the poor design of this feature. Whether it was always cross threaded or it was something I did I’m not sure. The result is that it slapped a 20% surcharge on my product because of a bad design.

Used this today and painted a whole room, vaulted ceilings all the way to the floor and a hallway in a couple of hours, no clogging, sprays great, nice range. Loved it. Easy to clean, not heavy, love the bags makes telling when I needed more paint easy.

Did not perform with the same spray finish as a lower in spray rig with spray and the price is absolutely out of sync

DO NOT PAY 800 for this sprayer!!!! This is one of the cheaper models and shouldn’t cost more than $500. The graco ultra handheld is the $800 model
