This stuff works! The previous owner did not maintain this house. I learned that after I bought it, naturally. The kitchen drain was slow. When my drain snake ran into goo, I knew what the problem was. Instead of calling a plumber, I bought this stuff. I would pour about 15 oz. at night and let it sit. I did that several times. The drain was clearly getting better each time I used it. After 3/4 of the gallon, my wife noticed how well the drain worked. It's much better to take a week to clear a drain and save $200 on a plumber bill. My wife is happy that the drain works perfectly. I'm happy that I we saved $200!

I had a severe clog in a garbage disposal that hadn't been used in a long time and was full of gunk. Pushing the reset button, using an allen wrench, and an up top wrench tool didn't work. I decided to try this product because it was enzymatic and won't cause damage to pipes. I slowly poured the whole bottle of this down the drain in increments and let it sit for 24 hours. The next day I poured 2 to 3 kettles of boiling water down the drain to clear it. Afterwards I tried the allen wrench again and it turned and the blades were freed. So happy that my garbage disposal is working again. Thanks Green Gobbler.

I was having a problem with a funky smell coming out of my kitchen drain. I do not have a garbage disposal, so cannot figure out why there was an odor. I was dumping Pine-Sol down the drain, but that only mask the smell for a little while. I used this product and the smell has disappeared.

This Green Gobbler drain cleaner is awesome! It really works to break down grease and get rid of nasty smells. Plus, it’s eco-friendly and doesn’t have any strong scents. Perfect for keeping pipes and septic tanks clear. I've repurchased it multiple times and highly recommend it to anyone dealing with clogged pipes!

This product really does work, and works well, if you use it in the right way. I first tried it when my kitchen sink was STARTING to run slow. Key word being STARTING. Poured half a gallon in the drain, ran the faucet for a few seconds to get it out of the P-trap and let it sit overnight and the next day it was draining perfectly. I now send it through every few months and it's been over a year since I had to snake it out. Same thing with my tub drain - as soon as I start to see it drain slow, put half a gallon down overnight and the next day it works. It's worth noting that a lot of the negative reviews are on drains that are FULLY clogged with standing water. This WILL NOT work on that since it'll just pool up. It needs some room to get into the pipes. So it IS NOT an emergency unclogging solution. Use it for slow drains and regular maintenance to prevent having to call a plumber! Catch it early and it's worth every penny and will save you money on plumbers. Like if you think "Huh, I showered and there's some standing water around my feet"....USE IT NOW! Or, "Hmmm, my kitchen sink isn't draining as well..." DO IT THEN! I have had to do it twice, but not since I use it every few months. If there's no standing water but if you think it might be further down the line (ie affecting multiple bathrooms or bathroom and kitchen, bathroom and laundry, etc), use the "Main Line Opener" version that seems to be stronger and not this one.

I used this for my clothes washer machine drain. It was smelly and I put 4 cups down the drain. Let it sit for 12 hours and then rinsed with hot water. Absolutely took care of the odor !!!! Would highly recommend it !!!!!
