GG works quickly. We have double sinks with only one P-Trap. We installed a disposal into the one-trap plumbing, which means you can only put so much into the disposal at once or the rush of water will take the route of least resistance up into the other sink, which is disgusting. As a solution, we no longer put anything into the disposal other than scraps that can't be avoided plus make sure to run the disposal often. Sometimes, guests (or family) forget and put too much in. Then the sinks back up and ----Thank goodness for Green Gobbler. It penetrates the standing water and goes down to eat up the clog. Last week, with guests visiting, a clog happened just as I went to run the dishwasher before bedtime. I poured in the GG, sat down and did a crossword puzzle, and pretty soon heard a loud "Glug, glug" from the kitchen. All clear in about 30 minutes. Every few months, I pour GG in overnight, just as a precaution. Great stuff!

I have an old home and have had a slow draining bathroom sink for the last 4 years. Tried Drano many times and learned that it isn’t very safe for old piping and it was ineffective. Tried a snake and got some gunk out but the sink was still pretty slow. After some research I settled on this hearing it’s safer for the pipes. I got the two-pack which equals 4 uses. I used all 4. For each use, I let the solution sit for 4-6 hours each time and then rinsed with some boiling water. Honestly by the 3rd use the sink was draining very well, but just to be sure I did do the last (4th) application and the sink drains very fast now, no issues at all. I’m happy with the results and will use this in the future.

First time I used it seems to work great. Now I can't get the cap to come off, I have arthritis in my hands that's prevents me from opening it again.

I can't say enough good things about this product!! I have lived in my house for 3 yrs and the whole time my bathroom sink has been unusable because it drained so slow, I tried liquid plumber, i plunged it I even used a snake to try to unclog it, I was just about to call a plumber when I kept hearing about Green Gobbler advertised on the radio and decided to give it a try, and boy I'm glad I did! This stuff works just like it says it does, my sink is just like new again, I can use it and it drains perfectly!! If you have a clogged drain and have tried everything like I did with no success, give this stuff a try before you spend a lot of money calling a plumber.

WONDERFUL! Please get this product before the Drano, the Liquid Plumr, or any other dupe. I tried everything to clear out my bathroom sink, and none of those products worked. I initially didn't want to get this product because I thought that if the others couldn't clear up the clog and standing water, nothing would. I saw the reviews, the pictures, and the price, and decided to give it a shot. I used a whole bottle, which has 2 uses, and let it sit overnight. I came back the next morning and ran cold water in my drain...THE CLOG DISAPPEARED AND THE WATER DRAINED PERFECTLY! Even better than before! Please try this product and do not waste your money or time on the big-name brands.

This product works! I read the reviews, so I bought this knowing that I 'd need to be patient. I'd never heard of it before & for a relatively unknown brand it seemed pricey, so there was some scepticism. Still way cheaper than a plumber. In the 67 years of my life I'd never seen a toilet as clogged as this. This was my last resort before calling a plumber. I did bail out some water before using this. It is made to pour through water, but I wanted to minimize how much water it had to compete with. I poured in the whole bottle and left it overnight, expecting disappointment in the morning. No disappointment at all! Next morning the water level had dropped, so I closed the lid, flushed and ran for the hills, fully expecting an overflow. No overflow. Clog cleared working nicely. I'm definitely planning to buy more and keep it handy.

I feel I really need to leave a review. This was recommended to me by a friend. Even though the reviews are overwhelmingly positive on here, and I so so so hoped that this would work for us, too. IT DID NOT AND IT MADE THINGS WORSE. I followed instructions, so the failure was not a result of that. Instead of a slow draining bathroom sink and bathtub, we got a COMPLETELY CLOGGED bathroom sink and bathtub. Two nights ago I was able to declog the sink. I scooped water out from the sink, filled hot water in the sink, plunged, scooped out water again, filled with hot water, plunged, repeat and repeat and repeat - I don't know how many times but finally got it to flow. Our sink now flows nicely (okay, maybe the Green Gobbler did help clean the drain pipe a little? But it should NOT have COMPLETELY CLOGGED the drain in the first place, that just does not make any sense). So now I'm at it with the bathtub, which, again, is completely clogged after using the Green Gobbler. I cannot understand why so many reviews had such fantastic/miraculous results with this, but ours is completely the opposite..... This is an updated review. I upped the one start to three. Okay, so this is what I think.... If you have a slow slow draining sink. Do NOT leave Green Gobbler in your drain pipes for too long. Just flush after 15 mins. I think the longer it's left in, it will be at work too long and actually clog up the pipes completely (for some). I think it's "safer" to just repeat the treatment a few times. I plunged both my bathroom sink and bathtub like there's no tomorrow (I'm not exaggerating, I should have videoed it), and they are draining now. The tub is not 100% but it is better than before. So, if you used the Green Gobbler, and it actually completely clogged up your drain, this is what I did to get the sink and tub flowing again (disclaimer, I'm only sharing what I did in the hope to help, if you get burned by boiling water or Green Gobbler gets splashed on you or something, it is not my fault, do this at your own risk with proper protective gear, gloves, glasses/goggles, etc etc) - First, scoop out the water that's just standing in the sink/tub. Do nothing for a day for like 24 hours (really, I just left it like that, with the Green Gobbler supposedly in the drain pipe). Then the next day, pour in boiling hot water. Plunge (super careful so you don't get burned. For me, when I plunged, I could tell the water being sucked up had the Green Gobbler, because it was all bubbly like suds, so I know GG was in the pipe). Scoop nasty water out. Pour boiling water down again, plunge, scoop. Repeat and repeat and repeat. Take breaks in between of course. *When I plunged, I also cleaned out the gross stuff so they don't go back down the drain. I know one can just say uh this is stupid, you are just plunging like anyone. But I just wanted to share my experience in case if someone really want to give it a shot instead of calling a plumber right away. I honestly think the key is boiling water and letting the GG just sit in the pipe for a looooooong time. And I changed my rating because I do notice both drains drain better now, I do believe that GG did clean the pipes a bit despite "causing" the initial complete clog (for the sink I know the clog was further down the pipe, because I had cleaned the trap and the area that I could reach with a manual snake).... Anyway, that's my two cents! Hope you will not have to go plunge crazy like me, but at least give it a shot if you are not afraid to get a bit dirty and flex some muscles!

I’m sure it would work on smaller problems but eve. Though I ended up trying both bottles, it didn’t do anything to unblock the toilet roll blockage we had. Plumber came to the rescue…it was literally just loo roll too
