I bought two additional batteries to have on hand for my battery powered lawn mower. They have a lot of power. I use two in my lawnmower and it cuts a large sized yard. Two batteries will give you 45 minutes of run time. If grass is really tall you won't get that same run time or if you are mulching lots of things in yard, like pinecones or small sticks. Best to have extra batteries on hand because it takes hours to recharge batteries fully. You can check to see how much charge is in each battery by the gauge on the battery. These are multi-use batteries. They have UBS port so can be used as a power bank also. They are a little costly, but they are large batteries. No trouble charging and they discharge very slowly. After 5 months when the need to start using my lawnmower again, the batteries didn't need to be charged they were still fully charged.

Works as supposed to. But has 1 feature most tool & mower batteries of these sort don't have. It has a little poet to plug in a phone or something for charging. Super great feature that can save the day in a long power outage!

It lasts a little longer than the battery that came with my mower. It still doesn't last long enough to get the lawn mowed and I have an average size lawn.

Last year I bought a Greenworks stick vacuum and I thought it was great. So much so that I was planning on buying a lot more Greenworks products in the future, going all in on their battery ecosystem for indoor and outdoor tools… But thank goodness I hadn’t gotten around to buying more Greenworks tools yet, because after about 6 months the battery the vacuum came with stopped working. Completely. Wouldn’t recharge at all. That was Strike 1 against Greenworks, but I hoped that it was a one-off unlucky battery… It took a while to get ahold of anyone at Greenworks support to help, but once I was connected with their team the individuals there were very kind and helpful. They determined that it was definitely the battery at fault and not the charger, and said I’d need to buy a new battery. But they couldn’t replace the battery under the warranty because of fine-print shenanigans… So I’m counting that as Strike 2 — forcing me to solve the problem by possibly sending good money after bad. But I went ahead and bought this new Greenworks battery, and at first it was terrific! It brought the Greenworks vacuum roaring right back to life, it held a charge pretty well, the battery charger recognized it and charged it fine… And then after only a few light uses over the course of about a month — it failed exactly like the previous Greenworks battery. Stopped holding a charge, stopped charging, no longer recognized by the charger. Strike 3! I’ve now switched to a Greenworks-compatible generic alternative battery from another company — normally I find generic batteries to be more of a gamble than first-party batteries, when it comes to other products… But since Greenworks’ own batteries have failed me twice in a row, I figured trying an alternative was worth the risk (and significantly cheaper than continuing to buy Greenworks’ expensive and unreliable batteries). So far the generic alternative has held up well — but I’m curious to see for how long (I’m a bit nervous that maybe there’s a flaw in the Greenworks stick vacuum and/or the charger that came with the vacuum — I’m wondering if it’s possible one of those items could’ve been shorting the other batteries out, or if both of the original batteries themselves were just coincidentally bad on their own volition)… If the generic battery manages to last longer than both the first-party batteries, then I guess that’ll be proof the Greenworks batteries were indeed the only problem… And at least I’ll be able to continue using the Greenworks vacuum with the generic alternative batteries instead. It’s a very decent vacuum, so I’d hate to have to throw it away so soon in its lifecycle… But regrettably I doubt I’ll be buying any more Greenworks products in the future, after these bad experiences with their batteries so far. In comparison, for years I’ve been using rechargeable lithium batteries from Ego and Dewalt for a wide variety of their respective lawn-care tools (including lawn mowers and string trimmers) and power tools (including drills and saws) without ever having a single battery die on me like this… So I’m a big fan of those companies now. But they don’t make stick vacuums AFAIK (as of this writing, anyway), so when my wife said we needed a stick vacuum to supplement our indestructible warhorse Miele plug-in canister vacuum (it’s amazing, but it’s a bit heavy and bulky so we don’t always want to haul it up and down the stairs to vacuum up some small spill or whatever) I did a lot of research, and the Greenworks stick vacuums were well-reviewed, nearly on the level of the Dysons in some cases but more affordable, and, importantly, they seemed to have a vibrant collection of other tools built up around their battery ecosystem … So I was expecting a much higher level of reliability than what I stumbled into here.

By simply adding a small notch in the center tab at the connector block it is compatible with 24v Strike Master Augers. Save half the cost of the red battery and get a USB charging port to boot! WIN-WIN. Performance seems to be identical to the stock battery and all other dimensions are exactly the same after the tab is modified to accept the strike master auger. Strike Master charger also works to charge this battery just like the origanal. So happy to save 60 bucks and have additional features to boot.

I'm quite happy I bought this as it keeps by leaf blower running much longer. I used to run out of charger before I ran out of leafs to blow, but now I can finish the job before I need to swap or recharge. A good addition to the tool kit.

Had to order 2 additional batteries as run time is less than what is stated in lawn mower information.

1 battery died, ordered another and while I ordered that one, I charged 20 minutes on smart phone and then battery died and would never take a charge again. So now I'm down to just the new battery I just ordered. Which 1 battery doesn't work of course so worthless without another 100$ for another battery. I cannot do videos mabout how I put the batteries into charger etc. Friend tried but no luck. Total of approx 430$ isn't worth this ustrustable product. Like the idea and weight and power, just bad\, expensive batteries.

Contrary to another review, this battery is not compatible with Strikermaster 24v auger! (I didn't want to give only one star simply because I couldn't use it for my needs.)

I like that I can use it on more than one device plus its small and light so doesn't add a lot of weight to whatever tool I'm using it with.
