It works very well no problem cutting through brush and weeds. Battery life was good for the entire time it was in use. No fall off in power noticeable. Was disappointed in the fact that it did not come with additional string or replacement cartridges. And the wingnut for the handle fell apart and I had to replace it before I ever used it

Works great as a line trimmer and powers my universal pole saw too.

UPDATE: The batteries or the charger were defective, and I had to return the entire weed eater. That meant I had to disassemble it, buy a box, and haul it to UPS. It would have been nice if Amazon would have just swapped out the batteries and charger. On the flip side, Amazon exchanged it and hopefully this one does the job. The tool has plenty of power and it's easy to manage. My 9-year-old grandson handles it perfectly well and so do I (I'm not much bigger than he is😁). The downside are the batteries. They only deliver power for about 30 minutes before having to fully recharge them. I would suggest purchasing two extra batteries. Overall, I am mostly satisfied and would purchase again. Happy whacking!

Works awesome with both 2ah and 4ah batteries. Loading the string is very simple. Don't auto feed string on concrete, only do it on grass otherwise all the wire feed instructions (arrows) will grind off.

I purchased a Greenworks Impact Wrench for my son. I was so so impressed with it that I purchased one for myself & decided to try their 2x24V 15" Cordless String Trimmer. Unfortunately just because a company makes one excellent tool doesn't mean that all their tools are good. The first problem I had with the trimmer was that it didn't come with the batteries or charger in the ad. It was supposed to have 4.0Ah batteries but came with 2.0Ah. In addition, more often than not, the manual didn't agree with actual parts & features. The trimmer requires two 24V batteries to operate. It can't be used with one battery even though it has a "low power" setting. On full power the trimmer had adequate power for most weeds but is no where near as powerful as a gas trimmer. The batteries only lasted about 20 minutes (this trimmer does not have a brushless motor). The 2 line feed head is not designed for easy reloading. In fact, it is the worst design I've ever owned. I've decided to return it & try one of their 2x24V brushless motor trimmers which should provide more power & has 4.0Ah batteries but costs significantly more.

I'm not happy with this trimmer and should return/exchange it, and proll will, I have about a week left. First, I thought it came with an extra battery, I thought, great, I won't have to buy an extra! It does not come with an extra battery, it takes two to operate. That makes it really heavy, plus if you want extra batteries, you have to buy two instead of one. Second, as mentioned the darned thing is heavy. Third, the batteries did not work/swap with the Greenworks blower I already had. Fourth, it is the rock-and-debris throwingest trimmer I have ever used. Make sure you're wearing heavy pants and eye protection, because these thing really throws the debris. If I keep it, I will almost certainly fashion some sort of additional shield. And finally, battery life is disappointing if used on the highest setting, and remember, if you want an extra battery, you have to buy two. The one pro I have is that it does cut well. The batteries charge fast too, but you still have to stop and do it. I would not repurchase this unit, nor would I recommend it to a friend. It seems well made and cuts well, but it's heavy, requires two batteries, and doesn't have impressive battery life.

I used this for the first time on a 1 acre lot that had a bad overgrowth of weeds up to 24" tall that I had neglected for the past year. The trimmer had plenty of power to tackle the job. The 0.095" line was able to knock down thick woody stems with ease. I did have to recharge the batteries to finish the chore, but as I said, this was a large lot and a big task. For a regular lawn, this machine would probably be more than needed.

Has enough power to do the job without destroying things. Auto load and feed of line works great . MAY 2024 follow up, I have a Kobalt with the same twine wind up cap. I use a 2 1/4 inch deep cut hole saw to get a better grip , to assist winding operation. It fits the edges and with the teeth going the right direction , ( clockwise) . 2 5/16 in. might work better , but I don't have any. The cheapest version works .

Received yesterday, set up this morning in about 15 minutes or less which was easy with my little power screwdriver. Loved that I was able to place the handle exactly where I wanted. I’m coming from a smaller awkward 18 volt trimmer which was not exactly powerful and awkward to hold. This one is extremely comfortable for me, not awkward, not too heavy at all (but has a good solid feel) and it cut through things I didn’t think any string trimmer could! I was trimming on and off all day and the batteries just died late afternoon. I feel I got a lot of performance from the first charge. One of the strings disappeared late in the day so I took the time to try to understand what the manual said about the spool which wasn’t exactly clear to me! Everything came unwrapped and I had a panic. I took a risk and it seems I fixed it. I put the two lines of string in the holes of the spool and then rotated the spool counter clockwise to re-wrap. Then I fed the line into the little holders on each side of the unit carefully, put the cap back on and went out and it worked perfectly so I guess I did it correctly. If anything negative happens I will update this review for sure but so far I’m very pleased and actually extremely impressed with this trimmer!

I purchase this recently, it work well ,I have one acre, and i can do the trimming very quickly and the charge old up quiet well ,I do have to recharge before I finish the one acre, but I did 75% of my yard without recharge. I am impressed, appears to be excellent quality. I had a issue with the trimmer I contact the company's and fix the problem.

Fonctionne très bien! Plus lourd que je pensais et le poids n’est pas balancé adéquatement, donc on doit mettre plus de force pour maintenir l’équilibre
