Came in a solid box. Batteries and charger were loose in the box but OK, not impressed that they weren't even wrapped in padding. Put together mower, trimmer and blower in about 45 minutes. Did not come with a screwdriver for the two screws on the trimmer that hold the plastic guard. This caused me to have to find my bit set and a wrench, since my screwdrivers and bit driver are conveniently missing. Nevertheless, the screws were easy to install and hold fine. Batteries were low on charge, but charged enough quickly enough to do the front lawn with no trouble. Results were great, as to be expected from a mower with a fresh blade. At least the trimmer came with a spool already attached, but it did not come with extra line so buy some. Trimmer is actually quite impressive because the guard doesn't wrap around so it was easy to trim the weeds up against the house. I was quite surprised to notice that the line is smooth feeding and doesn't seem to need manual pressing of a release to feed more line. The mower worked well with some terrible weeds and didn't bog down while mowing at a comfortable pace. I am 5'10" and the mower is comfortable to maneuver with the bar at the right height on the lowest setting, of which there are only two. The handle collapses easily which was important to me because I have to carry my mower down stairs to put it away. The mower is lightweight so it is easy to carry by the handle down the steep stairs. My backyard has also a steep hill which I have to mow which will be a piece of cake with this mower. The only thing I don't quite like is the blower, which is quiet enough but could have a bit more power. It couldn't quite blow the grass and clippings off the sidewalk.

Very light weight. I bought it for use around the house and trees where I would normally use a weed eater, but not wanting to tire myself out holding the weed eater, I opted for this instead. It is good for what it is. 17" is ideal for small places. I use it for about 15 to 20 minutes and am done. Any longer might need to charge batteries again. It is a bit under powered if you have tall or thick grass, in which case you would not be happy with this and need to opt for something more powerful. There is no side discharge, that's the other thing to consider, you either mulch or bag. A side discharge would give you slightly longer battery life. Being super light in weight, self propelled is not necessary. It weighs 42 pounds. I paid $199. They now list for $299. With the price increase, I would probably opt for a 60V or 80V as the extra power will definitely be appreciated.

I bought this lawn mower recently for my backyard. It is easy to setup and comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, which work for about 30 mins on single charge. I have a bigger lawn so sometime I have to charge it again to complete the mowing. Overall, compact lawn mower for a reasonable price.

I had concerns when we got this mower. It isn’t self propelled, and is smaller than our last one, but it really surprised me. We have a lot of yard, and are on a hill, which added to our concerns. It is lightweight, which makes it really easy to use. You can raise and lower the deck with a couple of fingers. It even goes up the hill easily. The only downside is the battery life. It comes with 2 24v batteries, and needs both to operate. They last about 30 min. My thought was to get a second set of batteries, but they cost as much as another mower. I like the easy maintenance, and light weight, and that it has power and is quiet. Great mower.

This mower does an excellent job of cutting grass, when it works. Unfortunately, the batteries suck big time, lasting only about 20 minutes of mow time, which equates to about 1/3 of the backyard of my .22 acre lot, that has lots of flower beds that don't need mowing either. When I took the batteries out to recharge, they were too warm so I had to wait about 30 minutes before the recharger would start charging them. Now I am waiting for them to recharge, which so far, has been about 30 minutes & the green lights are still blinking. So instead of getting my lawn mowed on a Saturday morning, it looks like this is going to be an all-day affair! I got the package with a blower & trimmer, but I can't tell you if, or how well, either of them works since I don't dare waste a moment of the precious batteries' charges to test them. I would love to return but don't know how I am supposed to do that with the huge box it came in, without damaging my vehicle or myself. Unless you have a teeny-tiny yard, I would not waste your time or money on this piece of garbage!

I have a steep incline that I have to mow. I'm weak and have a breathing disability. I was able to mow all of that long, horrible patch easily! The mower is lightweight so I can actually pick it up. It sounds like a big window fan while working. I live in a sketchy neighborhood, but I don't have to worry about it being stolen - after cleaning it up, the whole thing folds and fits in a locked storage box! I have a very big yard, but I run out of energy before getting 1/3 of it done. My gas mower was huge and could get it all done in a day...but it was too heavy for me to deal with. This mower works great for me.

Unless you have an apartment with a 10x20 yard I wouldn’t buy. Currently live in a house with not even a full .2 acre lot and it’s taken me 4 days to fully mow and weed eat the yard due to the batteries only lasting roughly 30 minutes and taking multiple hours to charge, if they decide to charge. Products themselves work great. But not for someone with any resemblance of a normal sized yard.

I'll be honest, I haven't had to mow grass in 20+ years. But buying a new home with a lawn this was a must buy. It comes with 2 batteries (which work with any other Greenworks devices of which I now have 2 of - hedge trimmer and weed wacker). Both batteries are used in the mower at the same time. I would say it lasted 45 minutes approximately. Basically long enough to do the side and back of my house. Honestly at the point the batteries died, I was done mowing anyway. It's not that much fun. Recharge (forget how long it took honestly, I did them overnight) and then mowed the front the next day. So now that I told you my tale, yeah it works great. I'm no mower expert, I didn't go to university to become a mower savant. But it cut my grass, is light weight to handle, and the batteries lasted the perfect amount of time. Way better than dragging a cord around, and far less loud and smelly than a gas mower. So moral of the review - buy one you won't regret it.

I bought this lawn mower for my small front yard. I've used it a couple of times now and love it! I was impressed with the battery life during the first mow, as the grass was a bit long and I went over some areas on the lawn a couple of times. The first mow took about 1hr. The lawn mower is easy to maneuver & turn. I am not using the bag, as I wanted to mulch the grass and keep it on the lawn, and the mulching attachment is easy to install. It's lightweight, as I have to lift it into my shed which has steps. I would recommend this lawn mower for smaller lawns.

I bought this mower to replace a 15 yr. old Sears gas mower. It was on sale so I couldn't resist. It was basically fully assembled except for the handle so it just took a few minutes to finish it. I let the batteries charge for about 3 Hrs. which brought them up to full charge. Popped them in and mowed my lawn. Slick and fast and perfectly cut all in about 12 minutes! Batteries were still 2/3 charged when finished so I figure I only need to charge them after every third cut. I REALLY like the wheel adjustment. Just push a button down and the mower floats up and down so easily. Just release the button when you've found the right height and it locks into place. The mower is very very light compared to my old one. It's all plastic which is fine (it won't rust). The only minor disappointment is the hollow plastic wheels. Don't know how long they will last but I guess replacements can be found if necessary. Surprisingly, going from a 21" to a 17" made no difference in the time it took to cut the grass, maybe because this one is so light and maneuverable. I've only had it a day so far but overall I am quite pleased. It does what it's supposed to do effortlessly and gives a great result. I am happy with the purchase. Recommended!!
