This is the second time I have bought this brand. I washed them according to the instructions and they came out perfectly. I did hang them to dry and touched them up with a warm iron. I especially like that they are 52" wide; that seems to give them fullness and they lay better. The biggest selling point for me is that they have a white back. The color is as depicted, and I was fortunate it complemented the color of the room. They are considered blackout, although because of the curtain rod I used, light comes in around the perimeter. This is not an issue for me as I really didn't want blackout, I just liked these curtains. I had originally installed them on a 1.5" wooden curtain rod, but I thought it was too tight a fit. I then put them on a 1" metal rod and I am extremely pleased with the fit. I installed the rod about 6" away from either side of the window frame. I like to open the curtains during the day and I don't want them blocking any part of the glass. The window is small and this lets in the most light. I guess the only negative is that I wish they came in more colors. I would recommend.

We have two large windows that face my TV and the sunlight coming in them made it impossible to see the TV clearly. These blackout curtains block the light out completely and help my living room be a little cooler in the Summer. Nice texture, wrinkles easily fall out, the color matches a variety of color schemes and the size was perfect for my window.

These seem well-made and they wash nicely. However, they're a bit stiff and don't open and close easily. The velcro tie-backs that came with them are too short and not very useful. I'll also say these curtains wrinkle easily if you do use the tie-backs. The curtains do perform well at keeping out the light, so I'm happy with them for that reason alone.

I was looking to buy "off white - ivory" color blackout curtains. Since my headboard is linen texture natural (ivory) color, I did not want the curtain to be the same texture. I found many other blackout curtain has linen like texture but this one did't look like it so I gave it a shot. I was worried how the color look like in person. When I opened the box and saw the color, I was so happy! This doesn't look like grayish white or anything, this is I would say "off white" and the texture is silky side not the linen. The ability to block the sunlight was also very critical for us..after using this many days, I can say this curtain does its job and completely shut the light from outside. It also reduce the noise and cold air coming from outside. The product and the package looked new but I found a little hole on one of the two panels unfortunately. This tiny light won't affect our sleep so I'll just forget it.

4.5 stars. These are pretty awesome black-out curtains. Note that the material is pretty stiff and hard. It's not flowy. These curtains hang like drapes. Requires ironing to remove the fold lines. Hang best by the tabs in the back. Great value for money. Curtains hit the floor perfectly at 84 inches.

What did I like about these curtains? The color and the fact that it has white backing. That is the only thing I like about these curtains. These are the worst curtains I have ever bought in my whole life. I washed a pair of curtains accordingly to the instructions, I dried them thinking that the wrinkles would come out.. no, they didn’t. I steam ironed them, and they still didn’t come out. I even bought a steamer and they still did not come out!! I have holdbacks for my curtains, and they got even more wrinkly from pulling them back! I am beyond disappointed! The fabric is like canvas, so it is pretty stiff. And the description says it is polyester. I bought three pair of them. so I spent $107 on junk curtains. This company ought to be ashamed of themselves for making such a horrible product. If you wanna spend hours on trying to get the wrinkles out or you don’t care about wrinkles and if you like stiff curtains, these would be perfect for you. And yes, of course it blocks out the light. But I like them to look presentable! Very, very disappointed…

These curtains are 100% blackout, it does what it promises. However, if you're looking for white, it isn't. It's a very light shade of grey and almost feels like raincoat material. Overall they look nice when hung up, but not what you want if you're looking for white or good material.

My goal was to provide darkness in the room, since there is a lot of light on the street at night from the lanterns, and the moon or sun also shine very brightly. The curtains create 100% darkness in the room, which is very important when you are going to sleep.

I like these drapes, they are not 100% blackout, perhaps due to having a white backing, but they work for the room. The amount of light it lets in does not keep you awake nor does it wake you with the sun at 4am. They look nice and I am happy with them.
