Works great

I have tried to use cheaper borescopes that attach to my phone to look into engines, especially smaller engines, like the 2 strokes, to check out the conditions of the tops of the pistons. Seeing the top of a piston is a great first step to see how the engine is running, either lean or rich, or to see how much carbon has built up. Having this standalone borescope makes it easy to see into the cylinders with it's included light, and being able to flip the image is nice as I can work from either side of the engine. The rechargeable ability is also nice as I don't have to swap batteries all the time. I have accidentally left this on after getting involved in fixing something and being able to just plug it in and go is great. This borescope has earned it's place in my tool chest.

Hubby is a very accomplished handyman, and does most of the work around the house himself--hates to have to pay anyone to do what he feels he should be able to do. One of the things he wanted was an endoscopic camera, for those times when nothing else will tell you what the problem is. He borrowed one from a friend to solve a small plumbing problem, and loved it. So when I saw this one at a great price, we got it. This is a very nice item, high quality, well made, easy to use, with very good visibility and picture quality. It is very versatile and functional, and works very well! Hubby has only used it once since we received it, but it solved another yard pipe problem with ease--mostly because the problem and its location could be specifically located! It is small, the battery is good, it is waterproof, and again, easy to use. Hubby recommends it without hesitation. He now has friends borrowing it from him! This would make an excellent gift for a handyman or anyone who needs to look itno a small, tight space with ease. Wow!

This endoscope an excellent tool its. it not professional-grade highly durable, and expensive endoscope, it is perfectly adequate for casual use garage work. image quality is clear, and the neck is sufficiently long. It is particularly useful for inspecting car engines, inside walls, and drainpipes.

I can't begin to count the number of times I've thought to myself...if I could just look in there, I'd know what to do. I've considered inexpensive borescopes that work through an app on your phone, but I'm more of an analog guy and I don't like dealing with multiple systems just to get one thing done. When I saw this item the two things that hooked me was the smaller head...easier to move around to see what's going on and that it has it's own screen, so no need to download or wrestle with an app. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that much at this price point but was happy to find that the images were clear and while I need practice moving the camera tip around this was all the help I was looking to find in a small, compact, easy to carry unit. You, like I, will have to spend some time learning all the tricks to using this unit....it does so much more than I have learned how to do...like zooming in and out, adjusting light intensity, moving the image around on the screen. So far, I have only tested it by pulling a plug on a motor and looking inside the cylinder...If I like it so much now, can't imagine not loving it more when I have a lot more time to play with it. Heck of a lot of tech for an amazingly small stack of cash.

Got this for myself just to have just in case I have to look in a tight spot one day. I love the video on this it's very great video quality. Battery life is amazing I used it for about 30 mins and didn't see no significant drain in the battery. Which means it's a good battery. It's very easy to use and very durable. The wire is very flexible which I love. Overall definitely a great find and Definitely a great gift idea for Christmas.

This thing works better than it should for the price they're charging. I've had a couple of different borescopes that hooked to my computer/phone and this one has a better picture and more options. I haven't used it for anything underwater, so I can't comment on that aspect, but it's already come in handy looking for obstacles behind a wall I was running fiber through. It charged up as designed and still had a full battery after I was done playing with it and checking for wires. The lithium battery means it should stay charged up until I need it again.

I am a bit torn between 4 or 5 stars because I would have really have liked for the borescope light to be brighter, it works well but if it were a bit brighter it would be perfect. I love that the cable is pretty thin, quite long at16ft. The screen is really clear so it is easy to see what you are looking at.
