Packaging can get banged up but the chair was fine. Excellent chair! Very supportive and with just a few knobs manages to customize very easily. The arms are easy to remove as well if you need to. Highly recommended! I've been searching for a great computer chair for a long time and considered buying the racing style chairs. I read good things about HON and decided to give it a go (got a great deal through Amazon Warehouse.) Super easy to set up, just plop the top of the chair onto the base and done. The 2:1 recline feature is awesome and you can lock the tilt at various angles. Overall highly recommended if you're looking for a supportive and comfortable chair at home or at work! It also looks stylish!

Out of the box this feels like I expected from HON — a10+year chair for my home office, heavy-duty in the right places, adjustable but without slop or looseness. Supportive cushion. Breathable mesh back is medium height and good for the occasional recline/stretch while not being a big slab behind me in video calls.

Great chair for the home office. We have two of these, and they're great quality, firm cushioned chairs that make sitting at the desk for several hours much easier with zero back issues. Only issue was in shipment packaging, as I've seen in other reviews. There's virtually no support packaging (flimsy piece of cardboard and a few pieces of Styrofoam) inside the original, large HON box to keep the chair from moving around, and damage can easily occur while in transit. In my case, it was simply cosmetic and only on one chair, not really noticeable (cracked plastic covers on the lower part of the arm extensions), and definitely not worth sending the chair back for a new one. But it was irritating and worth mentioning. HON really, REALLY needs to box these better! Aside from that, highly recommended.

Honestly for how much it costs normally this chair should be much more comfortable in my opinion.(I got it on sale for I think 275 USD) The chair has great support and a lot of customization to it. From the back support height, arm height/width, reclining tension, and lock, etc. However the seat takes awhile to work in and get soft and the hydraulic piston is so low that it scrapes on my office mat. The arms also don't extent forward so typing requires you to be very close to the desk for support. The back support on mine also tends to come out of its locked position and return to the lowest position. I'm 6 foot 3 and this chair is a perfect fit other than the arm rests.(I've had the chair for a month) I'm a hardcore gamer and this is a much better than any gaming chair. It doesn't have any faux leather that has a tendency to peel after about a month and then show up all over your house. (Problem with my last couple of chairs) The recline mainly happens in the back of the chair instead of the entire chair pivoting on the piston which is nice for a relaxed work position. I honestly didn't know much about chairs prior to researching and buying a HON and mainly thought that office supply stores actually stocked good chairs. So before you go out and waste money on a DXRacer or whatever check out this chair; and trust me if you can sit and game in a chair for 26 hours straight without feeling pain it is probably the best office chair you will be able to get for the money.

The chair came pretty much preasembled which was nice as I didn't order the expert assembly, so I just had to stick the wheels onto the top part. It has a few functions, how wide/tall you want the arm rest. How tall you want the back support , and how tall you want the seat. You can also adjust how tense you want the seat to be, for those who like to learn back. The arms a little too far wide for me even on the lowest setting. The materials feel like any other chair, plastic arm rest, mesh back, cheap seating. The mesh back isn't particularly soft either, and you can't lean that much back into it. The seat's a tad too small, even though I adjusted it all the way out. I think it'd be a good chair for cheaper.

The shipping was slow and not on time. However, onece the chair came, it was a 2 piece assembly. Is very comfortable. Only had it for a week or so but but it adjusts easily, is comfortable, and seems to be very well made. One of the last ones I bought had the fake leather that peeled, this one is fabric and mesh and looks like it will hold up pretty well.

Over 6' over 250lbs and this chair is fantastic. Usually can't/don't sit all day, but had to the other day. Once I got it adjusted I was comfortable and wasn't sore when I got up. It does take a good deal of twiddling to get it exactly right. Don't know about durability, but seems sturdy. Initial setup was a breeze. No instructions on adjustments - so - you have to play around with it.
