Many good features such as the 17.3" screen, ease of set up, and overall performance. The keyboard is of good quality and performs as it should, however it is aesthetically out of balance with amount of available space. In other words, I feel the keyboard is a little too scrunched or small. Just an opinion. I would still purchase this products again, no regrets.

There is no backlight on the keyboard. I can type and don't need to look at the keyboard much, but it is a huge nuisance that if the light is not right or the room is low lit, the keys all look blank. I almost want to take a black sharpie and trace over all the keys. other than that no problems with the laptop and it's performed well for my needs

i bought this laptop thinking upgrading is better, not so in my opinion, i should have kept my old one as it had windows 10. microsoft is biased as they offer cnn as the main screen that your stuck with. the hp computer works as it should with no other problems. figure on spending about $150 for windows 10.

Open the laptop and you'll see a broad expanse of silver things that vaguely resembles a keyboard. Even if you touch type sooner or later you need to look at the keys. The print on the key is very light type against silver and not backlit. Even at 90 degrees to the keys they were not clearly legible in a well lit room. Very poor MMI. Users are going to be seriously disappointed with this product. Can't tell you about the battery life. Pulled it out of the box and began my admin setup process. Looked for the backlight key (not there). Put it back in the box and shipped it back. A decent SSD, display, processor, etc. doesn't matter for a laptop if it is not usable without an external keyboard.

This is my second HP laptop. I love the fact that it just works. I work remotely and use it daily for 8-10 hrs with no issues.

I love the size of the screen. To Get that much laptop of just over $500 is amazing. Highly recommend.
