I bought this to use for general web browsing, email, writing, and some light photo/video editing for personal use, mainly at home, or to take on an occasional trip. After a week of use, this was exactly what I was looking for. The touchscreen is great for browsing the internet and flipping through longform reading. I've doodled with the touchscreen briefly, and it seems sensitive enough to draw with. There is a fan, and it will make some noise, similar to other laptop fans. The bottom hasn't gotten really hot like other laptops though. I haven't done any video editing on it yet - it seems powerful enough, but not sure if there will be a good enough app. I already used Google Suites, so using Google Docs and Sheets is a breeze with this. I also use an external hard drive for my photos/videos, and that plugs in easily with this. I haven't video called with it yet, so not sure how good the camera is. Watching HD videos on Youtube look great. Haven't tried Netflix yet. Overall, a great laptop for personal use at home, with the portability to also travel with if needed.

I read many articles and reviews about different Chromebooks, and I decided to go with this one. It is worth the price I paid (on sale for less than $500). I love the touch screen, and the ability to fold the screen flat (and use like an iPad). I use it every day for reading the news, emails, online banking, etc. Not really using it for video watching, but I did notice that the volume (at its fullest) does not get really loud enough for me, but other than that, i enjoy this. Used it for Zoom chats with friends and family, and it was good enough for that. Turns on easily, and was easy to set up. This is my first "fancy" (expensive) Chromebook, although i bought myself a simple Chromebook years ago for her use. For years I used a Mac but my old one is super slow now that it is very old (8 years or so). Glad I got this instead of the Google Pixelbook Go.

The order arrived within 4 days of ordering. This was a pleasant surprise as the shipping indicated that it would take 10 days from the days of ordering. It was packaged in a foam covering with larger foam "bumpers" covering the sides. It was placed inside of a box and that box was placed inside of another box. The item looks brand new! There are no scratches, dents, discoloration, etc. It appears to be in excellent condition. Set up was very easy. So far it has been easy to use and I am enjoying getting to know this new device. I like the feel of the key board, the touchscreen is responsive, and the speakers have very good sound. So far, I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought this for my daughter for schoolwork and it has worked out well. She loves it. This is a great Chromebook for the price. Keyboard is pretty nice, as is the touchpad. Overall we are very happy with this. ***Update***, the microphone stopped working. The warranty with HP is messed up. This is probably due to shady practices by the seller. The warranty period started in 10/19 and ended in 11/21, problem is we purchased it in 04/20. So, we were already 6-7 months into our warranty before we even received the laptop. This must mean that the seller "Laptops Zone" sold us a used laptop as new. Not happy about that.

Nice, affordable. Below par speakers take away from everything that would make this a nice Chromebook unfortunately. Maybe my standards are high but for the price, it's an easy upgrade by design team

Great battery life! Super light! Originally got it as a travel laptop for work but it's essentially replaced my other laptop as a full time workhorse. It's been great! Boots up lightning quick. Not sure I'll ever buy a windows PC again. The machine does tend to run hot sometimes and you can hear the fan. I bought a stand for it when I'm working at home to promote airflow. The dual USB c ports that serve as charging and connecting to other devices is nice. It works perfectly with my monitor. The one USB port is unfortunate however I bought a cheap adapter that gave me 4 which works just fine!

Hard to top. Getting rid of Windows and installing Ubuntu would have been a great factory default setting instead of seeing Windows directly downloading some updates at the very first start.

Pros: Very nice design and feel. Cons. Fan turns on quite often on video demands and the noise is not that pleasant. It could use more muscles. Tad pricey.
