I am still a tech amateur after decades of experience with internet but only on an as-needed basis. I have an iMac (Yellow! I love it!), and that sometimes makes things harder. This printer was a cinch to install, worked the first time and so far does anything I want it to do. I can even save paper by selecting the pages I want it to print. It’s not the first printer I’ve had that does this, but this one makes it more visual, easier.

FAST black and white printing — Q R codes have good contrast — few button controls — plug and play — plugs into your computer - WI Fi connection possible but not necessary — smaller physical foot print — holds more blank pages for printing than most printers, easy to load those pages. One of the best products I have purchased from AMAZON.

Very nice! Just remember to plug it into your computer (I always have my phone plugged in). And now I have a note on my HP LASER JET M209d.- plug in!!! LOL You have to download something on the computer and it takes 5min or less, and it prints beautifully. I don’t use it much- for tax stuff or kid stuff - but when I do use it I NEED IT TO WORK ASAP! The last one I had forever died- it was an old ink jet- and then I bought a 59$ ink jet that worked when I set it up- but after that 0!! It started printing one night while I was eating dinner/ anyways this one I love it I don’t care about color- I never used color anyways because I didn’t want to keep buying color ink- so happy.

The printer works well, and gives excellent, fast prints. HOWEVER, there is a major flaw in the documentation. The reference guide included does nothing more than show a simple image of what the printer looks like, with the model number. Inside, there are 7 minimalist statements. Here is what is says about the toner cartridge –“Blinks when cartridge needs attention.” That’s it. A nightmare ensues when it comes to replacing the cartridge. While the toner comes with simple instructions, the nightmare starts with trying to insert the new toner cartridge. There are totally undocumented processes for inserting the new toner cartridge and closing the opening after inserting the cartridge. There are internal mechanisms that block toner insertion and also closure of the printer opening where the cartridge is inserted. Ultimately, like over half an hour, I found the secret, and at that point the printer was back in service. To summarize, HP clearly has a priority for selling the printers, but user support is clearly lacking in after-market support,

I have installed the printer, but it will not even print a test page. The orange exclamation point and three orange dots is flashing. I read this means inadequate ink. I thought the ink cartridge that comes with this printer has enough ink to print several pages. Disappointed.

Well, we all know that HP printers ain't friendly to 3rd party toners, so that is not good. However, it is cheap, easy to install & fast as lightening, almost. Only printed 3 times with it (doesn't copy, mind you), and I'm fine with it, assuming it lasts for years, no more than I'll be using it. Good value.

Great Printer, very simple to set up, just plug it in, wait for it to warm up, when it stops then print something and it prints. No soft wear to down load. That's all I wanted! very happy

Excelente impresora..yo la utilizo para hacer papelería social, acepta papel de alto gramaje. El detalle es que es únicamente conexión por cable USB, yo no tengo problema con eso así que por el precio decidí comprarla así, pero debes considerarlo si necesitas que sea inalámbrica está el mismo modelo con conexión wi-fi obvio más cara.

Works great! Bought for my grandmother as it is simple to use. The set up was easy. Not too enormous either.

It is easy to use, but I really needed wireless.

This printer doesn't have WIFI! I didn't expect a printer sold nowadays to not have it. And returning it costs 20% of restock fee (About $40) and you have to pay for the shipping.
