Like other reviews have stated there is no mount. You will have to buy a stand or mount separate. The cord is also a lot shorter (maybe about 5 feet) than the one that came with my Steam VR set. So plan accordingly. It is steamVR compatible. If this is your 3rd+ base station when you first start steamVR you may get notified that you need to change the channels on the base stations. The steamVR popup window will guide you through this process. If they add the mount and increase the length of the cord. I will raise it to 5 stars. This base station is $50 more than it is on the steam store (but at least it is available). edit: I had a mechanical failure under a year. HOWEVER vive replaced it for free and even has a recycling program for the old broken one. Because of this I am raising it to 5 stars for the time being (I will lower it back to 4 if this one dies under a year as well).

I'm so glad I got this, I got it as a third base station when I ordered my index, but it sady came with a broken base station so this one saved me, it connected and works great with my index and 3 trackers it is a little shaky and you can hear it but that could be user error, I've had it for almost 2 years and I'm so glad I got it, I'll be getting another one hopefully soon

I use them with my 3.0 Vive Trackers and they work smoothly. No connection issues, 10/10 Worth it.

Update: after originally receiving a 1.0 base station, I returned it and got a replacement which was the correct 2.0 base station. I had no issue setting it up and it works perfectly with my valve index and the other two base stations I already had. Original review: In case this happens to anyone else, I ordered this to be a 3rd base station for my new valve index. But what I received was actually a 1.0 base station, which looks different from the pictures and is not compatible with the 2.0 base stations that came with my headset. 1.0 base stations have a flat front and a button on the back to select channel. 2.0 base stations have a curved front and no buttons. So if you order this and it's not working, make sure you actually got what you ordered!

These are identical to the ones sold by Valve (it even says Valve on the back still), but these are $50 more expensive and comes with a shorter, bulkier, and sideways oriented power supply compared to the ones sold on Steam by Valve. Not only that, but there is no wall mount included either. They charge you more for far inferior hardware or lack thereof and this has always been HTC’s MO. I was ok with paying $50 more because I needed the extra Base Station and I was already aware of the shorter power adapter, but I expected at least a wall mount in the box! If Steam wasn’t currently sold out of Base Stations I wouldn’t have even considered this. I will be keeping an eye on Steam’s stock and returning this if I can get my hands on a Valve Base Station. Do not buy this if you’re not in a rush for another Base Station. Period.

Like 90% of other reviewers, I was forced to spend the extra $50 for the same product with out a wall mount, so add another $15+ to get the same product you, should, be able to get from steam, but when there is only one manufacturer, they get to set the rules. That said this base station has been working as intended for the short time I've had it, it'll be interesting to see which last longer, Steam does a much better job of shipping these base stations.

Got it within 24 hours of ordering, thanks to Amazon Prime. Unlike most of the reviews I've read, I was lucky for mine to come with the standard AU power connector and mounting kit. Setting up was a breeze and works perfectly with my Varjo Aero. Now to get the second base station and by VR set will be complete (for now though). It's expensive, but you can see it in the quality of the device.

Quest Users Hear me!! I got 2 of these with 3.0 vive trackers. Here is some advice as someone who has a Quest 3. These are plug and play however, they will both be set on the same channel by default in Steam VR. These makes them compete instead of work in tandem. Plug both of them into the wall and with a tracker on(which they can both see) open steam VR on your PC, they should both pop up. Using a needle, go to the back of one of them and put it into the tiny hole until you hear a click. This will change the channel of the BS. Now if you hover over the BS in steamVR one should say "Channel 1" and the other "Channel 2" Normally you can do this directly in steam VR with an Index, but thats not what we're working with:((( Aside from the set up, these are great, they can be set up at any angle for wider range, and they're really small so they can honestly fit on a shelf without being an eyesore.
