Several times I ran into cloudy water issues with my pool (mostly when adding phosphate removers) and struggled to get the water to clear up. Each time I resolved it almost instantly by adding 2 pouches of this shock (to a pretty large inground pool). I suspect the water clarifier it contains helps, but does anyone really understand pool chemistry?

I purchase this for my pool which is salt water, just note this time of shock may cause faster build up in the salt cell so make sure you check the sell for clumps and clean out when needed. 4 1/2 if i could because they should really notify you on that.

Although it is not recommended we use this in our hot tub spa. Just adjust the amount to allow for the smaller pool. Like the product keeps the water clear. Once the pH was balanced this product seems to maintain everything well.
