This is a beautifully engineered single-riser stand for two monitors. Its part come in a cardboard box with a 2-layer foam insert. As visible in the picture, the contents include (in order from desk to screen, after assembly): (a.1) two sturdy clamps that attach to the desk at one end, and screw into (b) the base at the other, or one (a.2) through-screw for a hole in the desk, which is held against the base (b) with a (c) steel plate attached to it with 4 screws. The base (b) has an opening for cable management. The (d) riser is a solid pipe that screws into the base (b), on which two rings (e) slide up and down. They can be secured at the desired heights by tightening worm screws. Each of the two rings (e), once secured, will support one of the two swing arms (f). Each swing arm slides down the riser (d) by gravity, and sits against one of the two rings (e). The swing arms (f) can rotate freely 360 degrees around the riser. At the other end, each swing arm (f) has a receptacle for the pivot of the spring-loaded extension arms (g). There are two of these, and they are massive, with adjustable load spring action and cable management channels. The extension arms (g) at the other hand have an interlocking to accept the VESA plates (h). These plates should be attached to the rear of your monitor with the usual screws. After this, each monitor can be attached to the extension arm (g) by sliding the VESA plate (h) into the provided interlocking. Each plate (h), now attached to the monitor, can be secured in position with the red slider (see picture) to prevent accidental disengagement. The total net weight of all the parts above is slightly in excess of 20 lbs as measured by me. Each piece fits in its position smoothly. I'm inclined to believe that whatever the base is secured to may become the weak mechanical link in a 2-monitor setup, i.e. the desk is going to break off first before this support will yield. This is priced as premium equipment. That said, it offers commensurate value for money-it's worth what you pay for it.

I'm currently running a dual monitor setup: both Acer Predator X34's, one from 2016 (a lovely 100hz IPS that is too good to get rid of) and the new X34-x5 QD-OLED. This milder stands takes both and completely keeps them as steady or as loose as I want. Compared to my previous dual monitor setup, the hardware arms here truly do allow you to do some really awesome side-by-side/top-down setups. It has all the full motion articulations you want and the tuning on it is really straightforward and easy. The manufacturer did a great job of labeling the specifics of where and how to turn something to make an action happen. Even the VESA brackets on the back are really overdone in a good way, and feel really sturdy. I would dare say this is actually priced lower than it should be. I would absolutely be paying top dollar for this, and I feel like it's actually better overall than my Ergotron dual monitor arms I used to have. Do note one thing of interest, however: I have it screwed through my desk since it feels more sturdy that way (in my opinion) and the bolt does extend down about 2-3 inches below the surface of my desk. If you're someone that knees the back of your desk a lot, you might want to watch out. (see the picture) Overall, though, this thing is absolutely fantastic and a steal of a price for the construction and materials you get here. It really feels like it's going to keep my dualies stuff safe and exactly where I want to be for years to come.

This stand is great and supports multiple layouts. You can stack monitors or set them side by side. In my current layout, I have a dual arm that holds the monitors about 10 feet above my desk. Then I use this stand to stack 2 monitors side by side over my existing 2 monitors. So you can have 2 monitors sitting on your desk and use these arms to put 2 monitors above them in a 2x2 grid. It does hold a lot of weight, so I'm sure it can hold heavier monitors. The arm tension thing is something you have to do after you mount the monitor onto it. It's a bit confusing This is my second HUANUO monitor arm product. I have an assortment of other arms as well of different value. I've found HUANUO to be a high quality brand for adjustable monitor arms. This mount is great, but I could recommend a couple of slight potential improvements: 1. The adjustment key is much longer than it needs to be. I leave it in one of the adjustment slots, but it would be nice if there was a dedicated slot for it to rest where it looks flush. 2. On this particular unit, there is a cable management clip for the base. There's also cable management on the arms. But the pole also could use a strap or clip to manage cables. I used a velcro strap on mine.

I am a monitor hoarder. I am always using five screens for my online business, so monitor arms, stands, and mounts are just a part of the business. I live this monitor stand. It is fairly unique as it works stacking two monitors on top of each other or side by side. But given the length of the arms you can fit monitors in: * side by side portrait mode * side by side landscape mode * side by side portrait/landscape mode * stacked portrait mode The arms are strong enough to hold pretty much any monitor you throw at it (obviously not a 72" monitor but no one stacks those). These really work best for 19" to 27" monitors, but if you are flexible on how you want to position your monitors you can go wider. I really like how you can mix and match portrait and landscape orientation. I *always* have at least one monitor in portrait mode for scripts and word documents. Trying to do office work in landscape mode is just digital hell. Having the option to do your work in portrait makes everything faster and easier. This stand doesn't take up a lot of desktop space and I like that a lot, as this leaves me more room for my other monitor arms. This is my new favorite monitor mount and one I will use for years.
