I am writing a review after my second bottle of this tallow. First, I got the uncented, and recently got the coffee bean. I love this stuff! It just jives with my skin so well. I googled tallow and it turns out it's bioidentical to our skin, so it's a perfect fit (nerding out here, but quite literally a good fit at a molecular level). It leaves my skin feeling dewy for most of the day and very moisturized all the way up to bedtime. The other thing I like is that a little goes a long way. On really dry days, I put some on my hands and elbows, too. I tried another brand before this one, and it was good texture-wise, but it was stinky. The unscented version of this has virtually no smell and the coffee bean smells great. This stuff is good!

I’ve purchased 2 jars now and am still loving it. A little goes a long was so don’t scroll by just because of the size. The ingredients are quality and it absorbs well so you’re not greasy all day. It’s not a heavy yuk feeling at all! No beefy smell if anyone is concerned about that. I’m 60 y/o and this feels good, absorbs well, and keeps my skin soft and moisturized.

This is my first "tallow" product. Worth the price and really I pay almost the same now for my face moisturizer but I can see this jar will go a long way, you only need a little. LOVE that its all natural & made in the USA - VA. Product is creamy, light and fresh, I use on my face & neck. I have dry, sensitive skin - no sensitivity issues from this balm - this really gives my skin a drink of moisture, love it! I purchased the vanilla orange for my face and then ordered the coffee vanilla about 3 weeks later for my hands. Dont be fooled by "like" products- I had ordered another tallow product from another company (starts with a R & ends with an R) to compare since I was new to tallow productcs. The second product from another company (starts with a R & ends with an R) was dried up and hard, appeared old and dried out, probably sitting on a shelf for several months. I returned it immediately. There was no comparison to the Hearth & Homestead whipped balm - theirs was sofy, creamy and light-whipped texture, very fresh & pleasing to my skin. Both of my containers from Heart & Homestead were made to order, freshly made to me - soft, creamy, light fragrance & texture. Try it, I know you'll love it like I do. Btw, I see reviews where people get free or reduced priced products, I am not reviewing this for any other reasons except I love the product!

I love the whipped texture of this tallow! There is absolutely no odor whatsoever in the herbal unscented version I purchased. A little goes a long way, so this jar should last me a while. I love the fact that hours later after applying to my skin, I still feel moisturized. It is not greasy at all and absorbs very well into my skin. I adore the handwritten note that came with my order, it definitely added a personal touch for me. I love to support small family business and the product that they have put out is above and beyond!

This tallow smells wonderful and makes my skin feel very smooth, and there is no "junk" in it! There are only "clean" ingredients. I use it on my hands and feet almost daily. Problem patches of dry skin love it. The sellers own their own farm right here in the U.S.A. - important to us. :)

I use this stuff everywhere - hands, body, face, lips. My skin really suffers in these Massachusetts winters, and this tallow balm has changed the game. I use it on its own or layer it with thicker products. It melts in and hydrates quickly without leaving me feeling greasy. My sensitive skin loves this stuff. Small business, mom-owned, handmade. At 75, I'm no longer in search of a miracle wrinkle eraser. My preference is a simple, soothing, effective moisturizer that doesn't irritate my eyes or skin. This moisturizer could well be the answer. Time will tell, but my first impression is very encouraging. As countless others have mentioned, there's no greasy residue if you don't apply too much. A little dab really goes a long way. I usually avoid fragrance, but decided to try the vanilla orange. Pleasing blend, noticeable when first applied but not overpowering, soon fades. Doesn't irritate my eyes or nose. Does a wonderful job of making my skin feel and appear softer and moisturized, which is exactly what I'd hoped. Makes my skin feel much better and me feel good about supporting a small, USA, family owned, trust worthy business.
