I bought this as a travel monitor because the price was so good but I would 100% reccomend it even for a main monitor. There is no pairing involved so you just plug it in and it's connected and works great. The picture is really clear and the audio works great. Battery lasted a long time as well. I had it unplugged for a number of hours with no issues. Just a great simple monitor. The screen isn't that big but you can clearly see your baby and you honestly can't beat the price!

I recently purchased the Hallo Baby Monitor with Camera and Audio, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The video quality is excellent, providing a clear and sharp view of my baby, even in low-light conditions, thanks to its infrared night vision. The audio is crisp and two-way communication works perfectly, allowing me to listen to my baby and speak to them if needed.

It performs well, the sound & picture quality is good, I can see what I need to see- do I need really need to go in his room or he okay? I don’t want to go in & disturb him if he is going to self-soothe himself back to sleep. It’s perfect to take when you for travel or to have at grandparent's house or at the babysitters. This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased. The 1st one worked for more than 6 years & I replaced it 2 years ago. I actually bought this just particularly for the camera as I needed an additional view. It says that you can use it with 4 cameras. The set up is easy & pairing the cameras to the monitor is also spelled out in the instructions. Well I wish I would have found & read a review here on Amazon written by: “Michelle Shafer-McManus” on October 1, 2023 because I couldn’t find instructions on how to switch between the 2 cameras on my monitor. In her review, she stated that “You can add up to four cameras! … I will say though…I wish that it was easier to switch cameras instead of unpairing the one that is not being in use. “ I don’t get what is the purpose of being able to use it with 4 different cameras if you have to pair & unpair each camera. To pair the monitor & camera, you have to press the “pair” button on the back of each of the cameras every time, defeating the purpose of watching on a monitor. Also if you were to have 2 children napping in separate rooms & a couple more kids playing in another room while you’re making lunch, you would want to have one monitor in the kitchen that you could switch camera views to check on them, not 3 or 4 monitors taking up valuable counter space. My opinion.

I got the set with 2 cameras for both my kids rooms and it works well. The video quality is decent and picks up great with sound. I use it in a two story house and the signal works well. No WiFi needed, the night vision is good as well. Great value for money! Can monitor up to 4 cameras simultaneously

Play Video I got this monitor for my second baby’s room! I’m really impressed with the video quality with lights on and with lights off! See photos for comparison. The camera and monitor were very easy to pair together, no issues or complications. I love that it’s not wifi powered for personal safety reasons. Monitor is very easy to navigate and work as far as volume control, brightness etc! The camera itself does allow you to move the camera but you cannot move camera from monitor itself. Overall, happy with my purchase! I would recommend!

I picked an inexpensive baby monitor because I have a front door that I wanted to monitor. I have Ring.com which requires internet and I have to scroll thru my phone to get to the live screen if the alert goes off, which takes time. I wanted a 2nd security unit for the front door that did not require internet and that had a full-time live screen view that was always on. The camera is for indoors but I placed it outside under the covered porch at the front door. It's such an inexpensive unit that I will take my chances that outdoors does not hurt it. The little indoor monitor screen is small and sits on my coffee table so I can see the live view all of the time. I don't have to scroll thru my phone to get to a live view. This enhances my security with the live-view screen I wanted easy access to. The picture quality is very good and the sound is good as long as the units are not too close together. However the camera requires plugging into an electric plug, so keep that in mind, you might not have a plug where you need it. The screen runs on a rechargeable,, plug-in battery. I get several hours run-time on the screen before I have to re-charge it, or I can keep it plugged into the electricity all the time. I've had it for a week, it's been raining and very humid all week, and so far the camera is operating well.

I’ve had it for about a month, and do love the simplicity of this camera. It’s nice that it isn’t connected to WiFi, and I like the idea that I can connect multiple cameras to one parent unit. I haven’t used Eco mode personally, but my husband said it took a lot for it to actually detect the baby fussing and crying. At one point he could hear her crying upstairs from downstairs before the monitor turned on. I also don’t use the timers, but accidentally tuned it on once and the beeping seems like it would be great for that purpose! I will say, it tends to glitch and freeze fairly often. The monitor will either go black, or will get black and white lines and squares all over the screen and the audio will go out. It usually returns after a few seconds, but still is frustrating at times. It has also started disconnecting randomly but usually reconnects quickly. The furthest away I am is downstairs which is maybe 30 feet away through the floor. Even on the lowest setting the screen is bright at night when I’m sleeping so I usually put it face down on my nightstand. But for the price it seems to do the job fairly well otherwise.

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews!!! I absolutely love this monitor we have had it for a year and it still works great. I am actually trying to find a spare camara (amazon dosnt have them for sale right now) because we have another baby on the way. The price for the quilify is great.... Ps I have dropped it like a million times and it is so durable!!

La calidad del video es buena con la luz “normal” y el modo nocturno, la del sonido es increíble, se escucha clarito todo lo que pasa en la habitación. Dude en realizar la compra pero resulta muy útil, es fácil de utilizar, su uso es básico pero vale la pena por el precio. En ciertos lugares de la casa (mayor distancia) falla la señal.

Cannot zoom out ( very narrow field of vision). I got this when baby was 1 month old sleeping in a Moses basket so it was ok since baby doesn’t / cannot move. Now that he’s 5 months and moved to a larger bassinet, I can’t see him once he moves out of the narrow field of vision for this camera. Also if the baby cries softly , cannot hear very well. But since it’s very cheap, I keep it. I have other camera like vtech which has wider field of view so it’s ok.

Bought this because it was cheaper than just adding a camera to my existing monitor system...and it’s way better quality! It’s so clear too, the sounds and the video. Great price for the quality. It would be a hit as a shower gift.
