This monitor is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. We absolutely love it for keeping an eye on our sleeping baby. The picture quality is great, even in night vision mode. I like that this is not connected to Wifi. The range is still really good on it as my baby can sleep while I can take my other kid out to the bus stop. The sound quality is also good allowing us to hear her as well as talk if needed. There is the ability to connect more cameras if needed, but so far we only use the one. It actually has a lot more features than we need. As a basic monitor though, this is great for the money and a nursery must-have.

This is my 3rd HelloBaby product! I received this monitor as a gift in 2023. I loved it! Easy to use, picture quality was great in color and night vision. I purchased a second HelloBaby monitor (different model) that was cheaper & smaller to make it easier to take along on travel or family visits; It gets the job done (still have it and is working great). Unfortunately, my 2023 monitor broke a few days ago. It’s been dropped quite a bit, so it had nothing to do with the product. It’s been surprisingly very durable as there were times I thought it for sure had broken. Tiny hands are quick and powerful! But this last time, the monitor finally gave out. So of course, I planned to purchase another monitor set because you can connect up to 4 cameras to it and my 2023 camera worked just fine. Upon receiving it, the connection fails with my old camera. But the connection with the new monitor and new camera was a piece of cake. I contacted HelloBaby customer service to get assistance with the connection and I received a VERY quick response. That was my first surprise. But not only that, upon discussing my issue, they sent me a whole new camera because my 2023 camera was no longer compatible as there was an update to the 2025 cameras! Talk about amazing customer service! The entire time, they were friendly, understanding, and provided quick responses. This is probably my 2nd review ever, but my first POSITIVE review because how could I possibly not mention what a breeze this company made it to solve my issue. And from what I see, my review is one of many that rave about their customer service. I can also say, the upgrades have been phenomenal. The screen appears to be clearer (I had 0 complaints before so this is fantastic) and the battery life lasts so much longer. I also love the date and time stamp that automatically appears on the screen—as busy parents, days are a blur and our eyes are often on the monitors while trying to get things done, beats having to hunt down a phone because those wind up getting lost while doing a million things while baby naps! I was a happy customer before, but after this AMAZING Customer Service experience, I am even more thrilled about their products. Truly amazing that they’ve given a lot of busy, stressed out parents one less problem to worry about! Thank you HelloBaby!!!

I received a monitor in 2023 with my first son, when the monitor broke a few weeks ago I purchased another so I could have a working monitor and two cameras. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to link so hello baby sent me another camera free of charge. The camera is amazing and works great. The monitor is super easy to use and I love that it is a non WiFi monitor. I love being able to talk to my son thru the monitor and the night vision is fantastic. 10/10 recommend not only for quality but for the customer service as well

We are huge fans of Hellobaby. Their monitors are durable, ideal for travel (no wifi needed), easy to set up, a great value, and their customer service is friendly, quick to respond, and consistently exceeds expectations. As others have noted, these monitors do what they do extremely well. Five years ago we purchased our first Hellobaby video monitor (3 inch screen), as we had heard very good things from family and friends. The monitor's battery held up surprisingly well after five years of round the clock use and the unit itself survived an embarrassing amount of wear and tear. I would cringe each time the monitor fell out of a bag onto concrete or got knocked off the counter onto the tile floor, expecting to find a cracked screen or broken antenna. Even after a recent 15 foot drop from the second floor, the only visible damage was a jammed power button. After everything the unit had been through it owed us nothing. Replacing our old unit with the HB6550 was an easy decision, as this company stands behind its products and goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied. We really appreciate this model's larger screen, improved battery life, and ability to easily add multiple cameras. I highly recommend this monitor.

I really like this baby monitor with one exception. So everything it can do is amazing but what really impressed me was the range of the signal without using my WiFi. We have an almost 4000 square foot home and it had no trouble reaching from one end of the house, where the baby bed is located to the master bedroom on the complete opposite side of the house. Wow. Picture quality is acceptable. Certainly not 4K, or it doesn’t look like it. The biggest gripe I have is with the sound coming from the camera itself. It’s pretty low quality. So between the picture and the sound I’m docking it a star. Like I said the picture is acceptable and the sound at the camera end isn’t the most important thing, so I’m keeping it. But everything else is wonderful. The camera can move, zoom and even see in a darkened room. The sound coming from ghe monitor is good. It alerts for things like sound and ambient temperature. Overall I am pleased and my wife is happy and the baby is happy.

I was specifically looking for a baby monitor that didn’t rely on an internet connection, since I didn’t want to keep my phone screen on constantly. This Hello Baby monitor solved that perfectly. The camera needs to be plugged into external power, while the monitor is rechargeable and holds charge for several days. It connects quickly and has been very reliable. The video quality is sufficient for its purpose, and the night mode works surprisingly well. There’s no noticeable lag in the video feed. The screen graphics do feel a bit low-resolution by today’s standards, but the image quality itself is clear enough for monitoring your baby, which is what matters. I do wish the pricing was a little lower and that there were more good non-Wi-Fi options available in the market. That said, for what it offers, this is a solid, dependable choice, highly recommended for parents who want peace of mind while finishing up chores.
