I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews — you all don’t know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these — everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan. I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long I’ve used Lodge cast iron pans. Don’t get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didn’t disappoint. Plus they’re so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze. Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips: #1 Follow the directions given in the package. #2 Please, put a buffer between what you’re cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points can’t cut it like natural fats. #3 Cook on low to medium heat. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be surprised at how well these pans heat up. #4 When using any stainless steel utensils, don’t dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or ….. you get the point. See what I did there? Point? And lastly #5 …… refer back to #2 and you won’t go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer — what did you think was going to happen!? SMH Happy cooking! Update: I have used this pan for just about everything and I absolutely love it. It has literally became my favorite pan. Cooking is fun once again and the food tastes better. The ergonomics of the pan handle helps as it stays cool. But don’t put your pan in the oven at 500° and then grab it by the handle because your’re itching for a burn you don’t want. This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; that’s because they’re made from quality materials. I am disappointed they’re made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US. So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all I’m doing is giving you my two cents worth. As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you won’t be disappointed. Happy cooking!

I've been cooking for more years than I care to admit and this is, without a doubt, the finest skillet I've ever had the pleasure of using. It was pricey but now that I've used it for a while I'll tell you it was worth every penny. It doesn't scratch up like other non-stick pans and they say you can use metal utensils (I still don't). It cleans very easily and maintains an even temperature for great results. Highly recommend.

Good pan, no complaints. Never used any metal utensils and never put in dishwasher. In my case I am not interested in the pan allowing food to slide around like a hockey puck on ice. All I want is reasonably non-stick surface but more importantly very quick and easy washing/cleanup. And this pan provides exactly that. Distributes heat well, cooks well, meets my expectations.

Truly non stick with minimal amt of oil or butter and heats quickly

A flat small pan with lid good enough to make eggs, light fry veggies and is awesome when you are looking to make pancakes and chillas. Its material is good and not harmful to human body and doesn’t affect the taste of the food. I prefer washing it manually though is it dishwasher safe. The lid is good and helps cooking food faster. It is rust resistance and flat enough to get the right shape of pancakes. It comes with a life time warranty, the product is a little pricey however is a good investment. Don’t think twice before investing in this product.

Works very well with canola oil, not so much olive oil in my experience. It heats up well, I’ve had it for about 3-4 months with no warping. It feels high quality, but it will stick with olive oil in my experience but not so much with canola oil. It will occasionally get some buildup but I typically use baking soda and vinegar in it and let it sit for about an hour and use I bristle brush to clean it. I also use a metal spatula and it has had no issues handling it. The weight feels good and the coating has lasted so far. Overall a good pan.

I brought a 10 inch fry pan direct from HexClad, I liked it so much I just brought a 12 inch pan on Amazon. I have had the 10 inch pan for about a week and I love it. I own a parrot and PTFE/PFOA, when overheated creates a deadly gas for birds so chemical free was a priority. I have a large gas grill with heavy iron grates so durability and even heating matters. Normally, I find celebrity endorsed products to be "gimmicky," but not here. The pans are very well made and even aesthetically pleasing. The black patterned surface with stainless trim looks good and hides staining. The pan is solid and moderately heavy and the handle is big making it good for large hands. It's ability to withstand 900 deg. (as advertised ) in an oven is a feat. With regard to its non-stick qualities, it is very good provided you follow the simple seasoning instructions and follow their heat recommendations. If you do, eggs, meats and sauces slip right off and you only need a soft sponge to clean the pan. The pan heats very quickly and evenly. HexClad claims that medium heat has the cooking effect as high heat which is true so you must be careful with you heat levels or you will burn the food. The pan finish feels diamond hard and slippery-smooth despite the embossed pattern. I used a steel fork to scramble eggs. There was not a mark or a scratch so their claim that you can use metal utensils is true (within reason). Still, I prefer hard, nylon utensils. There was alot of hype about this product and for once the hype is true. I cook alot and have invested in many high-end pans. HexClad is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I have not owned this product long enough to judge it's durability (which I suspect is good), I will edit this review in 6 months in that regard.

It is not Hexclad brand, but I wasn’t expecting a 20k rupees pan when I pay only 1700. Quality is as good as other 3000-4000 rupees priced brands. Also, I am happy as I have received a bigger pan with lid (see photographs from other reviewer). Already tried cooking in it - I liked it!
