I did not want to risk messing up the paint on my wall, so I mounted the acoustic tiles to a sheet of half inch polyiso insulation board. The board has a plastic coating on one side which the panels stuck to very well. Once my pattern was laid out and adhered (which was much easier to do on the floor), I used an electric knife to trim around the perimeter and beveled it at a 45° angle so you can’t see the foam board, and gives a nice floating effect against the wall. I was able to mount the whole assembly to the wall with six heavy duty, 3M command strips. The whole thing is very lightweight at probably around 10 pounds (I used 2x 12 packs). As far as acoustic treatment, they seem to do the trick of removing some echo in the room, and looks cool.

My new apartment is directly above a gamer who screams all night. I went months without any sleep and my poor pets were so stressed, so I finally bought two sets of these and asked my landlord to install them in the gamer’s bedroom below me. The end result is that I can still hear the gamer, but his screams are much more muffled and I’m getting a lot more sleep than before. That’s with just two sets. I highly recommend these and I imagine if I’d had a few more sets installed the end result would be even better. Also, when I unwrapped them there was no notable odor or off gassing.

I haven’t asked my neighbors yet if it works, but they look nice and we’re easy to install.

Got some of these to hang in the theatre room here. Super easy to put up and I’m a fan of the hex shape.

We used in an apartment for 9 months between us and a noisy neighbor. They did help some. When it became time to move and remove these, it pulled everything down to the drywall off the walls. It also left a huge amount of glue on the wall where it did not damage the wall.

Very easy to install. All you have to do is peel the wax paper off the back of each panel, and you're ready to stick it to the wall. Now, adhesion may not be the best for some walls, so I recommend getting something you can use to help it stick better. I used little 3M tape squares on the black hexagons because those kept falling off my wall. I am using these hexagons to help reduce the noise that leaves my living room. I want to be a good neighbor lol. Hope my pictures help with your buying choice! In my opinion, these are great.

These tiles really help reduce echo and reverberations quite efficiently while blending into my grey walls. They can be cut to size with some effort, making some jagged edges

I kept buying more and more for the office because I kept getting compliments! Honestly, they help reduce echo but I bought them for the visual appeal. The quality is great and the price is OK. I could see myself padding the whole room (depending on my mental health) 🤪 one day. Seriously though, it’s worth it. We installed this in 3 offices and I’m def buying more!

I had a few panels that had marks or imperfections on them that look like they were created by the machines that made them. I had a picture I wanted to upload as an example, but the website wouldn't allow me. Otherwise, they sound good and look good.

The hardest part is to plan how you want these panels on the wall. My husband and I tried to lay down the panels on the floor first and once you make the decision, it's super fast and easy to put them on the wall. I absolutely love how it turns out and we're not using them for sound proofing. Hopefully they will stay up on the wall, the adhesive seems pretty strong though.

Great product, love them. But Amazon shipping in a bag causes dented corners on tiles and seeing as they need to fit together seemlessly that’s a problem. I don’t know if this is an Amazon thing or a Supplier thing? But a little common sense would go a long way here. Packages go through a rigamarol during transport, the protection of goods should be of paramount importance.
