This review is for the Hiseeu Solar Powered - 24/7 Recording - Dual Solar Panel - WiFi Camera I purchased and nstalled this camera in May of last summer to keep an eye on our HOA swimming pool. I mounted it about 18 feet up on one of the chain-link fence poles surrounding the pool area, and it has held up through the hot summer heat above 105 degrees and the cold freezing winter lows down to 4 degrees. Even after months of exposure to the elements, it’s still working just as well as the day I installed it. Setup was easy. Just connect it to your wifi then mount it and it’s good to go. The two included solar panels make a big difference in capturing the sun and keeping it charged. I positioned one facing east with a slight tilt to catch the morning sun and the other almost straight up at a different angle to catch the afternoon sun. Even with constant 24/7 recording, the battery reaches 100% by mid-morning, lasts all night, and still has about 55-60% charge just before sunrise. That’s pretty impressive for a solar-powered camera. The video quality is sharp, both day and night. The 4mp resolution is clear with plenty of detail. The infrared night vision is crisp and clear as well. There's an option to have the built in led spot light turn on at night or just when motion is detected and using that option makes the night vision full color which is really cool. The camera can pan, tilt and zoom. It can pan 360° which eliminates blind spots. I’ve used the two-way audio quite a bit to stop younger kids from running in the pool area, and the sound quality is clear on both ends. The motion detection is responsive but isn't overly sensitive and the sensitivity can be adjusted up or down to get it just right. The instant app notifications let me know when there is movement in the pool area and actually was the only reason that I was able to catch some kids at 3:30 in the morning who snuck in by climbing over the fence to swim. There's a button on the app that plays a loud siren on the camera. The notification woke me up around 3:30 in the morning when it detected them in the pool area. So... As you can probably imagine, that's the button I pressed. It was actually quite hilarious to see them scramble around in a panic and I can say that they climbed the fence a whole lot quicker leaving than they did coming. Downloading the recorded video is simple and yes... each of their parents got a copy. Lol 🤣 I have it set for uninterrupted 24/7 recording with a 64gb sd card, and I was shocked at how much footage it was able to store. Our pool season runs from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend which is about 100 days and the sd card held the entire summer’s worth of footage without running out of space. In fact, it stored 119 days of continuous recording before it finally started overwriting the oldest footage. If I had set it to motion-only recording, it probably would have stored six or seven months, if not more. This camera has been rock solid, requiring no maintenance whatsoever. I actually purchased two more in October. The bottom line... If you're looking for a security camera that can handle extreme temperatures, record non-stop, priced right, and keep itself charged without any hassle, this one does the job by far which is why I gave it 5 full stars. I will update this review if my opinion changes for whatever reason.

I have 14 of these cameras in different parts of the country and Caribbean. I have been using this and several of the previous Hiseeu models for over 2 years. I am throughly pleased and I will say quite impressed. I have some background knowledge of security cameras of different types and I am sold on these being best overall big bang for the buck. Super easy to connect. Mega features for such an inexpensive camera. All seem to work flawlessly for me as long as the WiFi connection is good. Picture quality is really pretty good. The solar models seem to have a little bit more lag time than the plug in model. I love both and use them both, daily. I would highly recommend them.

I don’t know if mine is damaged or if the claims that it records 24/7 are true, but even though it was connected to the system along with the previous four cameras, it only records motion, not continuous footage. Even after inserting a separate memory card directly into the camera, it still doesn’t record video 24/7. You can’t go back and review footage from a specific time unless there was some movement at that moment — only then is the event saved. Additionally, I’ll mention that the other cameras, the ones that are wired, do record continuously. With this one, you can’t even change the settings to enable continuous recording.

This is the second set of cameras we've purchased by this company and we have enjoyed these cameras a lot. The best part about these cameras... We were installing them 20+ feet in the air off of a barn and we dropped it two times. The camera did NOT break!! The video quality is great for the price. We will be buying more!

Great camera the build quality was great. The picture quality was great. Installation to the Eseecloud App and to a NVR system was easy. I actually owned 10 cameras from this company and an NVR and have not had any problems this far. All my cans are solar power and all my cams are Wi-Fi. So far so good. Now the reason I only gave four stars instead of five stars is because the one problem that I have noticed is the mounting hardware the screws that are provided with the cameras are cheap they strip too easily. I've had to replace them with my own screws of better quality. EDIT: ONE MONTH LATER It appears the Night Vision LEDs have malfunctioned and the night vision stays on even during the daytime.

The resolution is better then the blink cameras I original have. But these cameras have such a delay that sometimes I’ll get just the tail end of an event. I e adjusted the cameras for humans only as well but there’s still a delay. The set up itself was pretty easy. As far as the WiFi, sometimes it takes a good minute to buffer. I’ve had several times when it wouldn’t connect at all to my WiFi. Recording is easy to do. I’d say the motions detection is so so. It has its hits and misses.
