Excellent product, it has a superior resolution, easy configuration, finishes and details that make it look very good, the sound is excellent by itself, its operating system flows quickly and without errors so it is undoubtedly a perfect option if you want a good smart TV without spending a lot.

A Giant Surprise — This TV is Seriously Impressive ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve used a lot of TVs over the years, but the Hisense 85" QD7 genuinely surprised me—in the best possible way. I picked it up mostly because of the price (you just don’t find 85” QLED panels in this range), but what I got in return was so much more than I expected. Let’s start with the picture quality. The blacks are shockingly deep for a TV in this price bracket. It handles contrast beautifully, with fine detail even in dark scenes. The Quantum Dot color reproduction is vivid but natural—not that artificial “glow” you get with some cheaper panels. Watching movies in 4K HDR feels cinematic. What really sets it apart is the response time. Fast-paced scenes in games or action films come through smooth and crisp—no ghosting, no blurring. I’ve got a PS5 hooked up and the gaming experience is next-level. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the side-viewing performance. Even when we’re sitting off to the side, the picture holds its color and clarity really well. Honestly, the only part that didn’t blow me away is the sound. It’s fine for casual use, but if you want to match the image quality with audio, you’ll definitely want to add a soundbar or external speakers. That’s a small trade-off though, especially considering everything else this TV delivers. For anyone looking for a giant, premium-level screen without the premium price tag, the QD7 is a total win. Hisense nailed it.

The Hisense 65QD7N has an IPS panel. If you research the difference between IPS and VA panels, you will be told over and over again that VA panels have a super high contrast ratio, meaning blacker blacks and whiter whites than an IPS panel. This is true. You will also be told that IPS panels have a wider viewing angle than VA panels. This is also true. If you read reviews about 65 inch TV sets, like reviews by the rtings web site, they will always give TVs with IPS panels a bad rating because it doesn't have the high contrast ratio that VA panels have. VA panels suffer from a VERY narrow viewing angle. All of the VA panel TVs I've seen only look good if you are viewing it from a point perfectly perpendicular to the center of the screen. The poor viewing angle of VA TVs is often times so bad that two of the three people sitting on a couch watching TV or playing video games will not be happy and will want to trade seats with the guy in the middle seat. TV reviews, like the rtings web site, will often times describe TVs with IPS panels as "terrible" because of the low contrast ratio, but they will rarely describe TVs with VA panels as "terrible" because of the narrow viewing angle. If you will be watching TV or playing video games on your 65 inch TV with a couple of other people, then the Hisense 65QD7N is a good choice, especially at the $399 price. Don't under-estimate the benefit of the wide viewing angle that this IPS panel gives you. And if you are a gamer with an xbox or similar, this TV rocks with native 144Hz 4K and Dolby Vision Gaming. HDMI ports 3 and 4 are both 4K 144Hz. HDMI ports 1 and 2 are 4K 60Hz. HDMI port 1 is used as the eARC port if you have a speaker system that needs it. But this TV also has a headphone out jack, so you can use the output from it as a "line-in" to typical powered stereo speakers. Technically speaking, the headphone out is not a "line level" signal, but it works as a line out -- you just have to adjust the volume to get it right. One thing about "edge-lit" IPS panels that often times freaks people out when they first look at it is the glowing backlight coming through around the edges. It makes people think the screen is defective. It's probably not -- that is typical for "edge-lit" IPS panels when the brightness is up and the panel is displaying near black at those places. In actual use, once you have the brightness and other settings adjusted best for the lighting in your room and you are actually watching TV or Game content, that "backlight bleed through" will be barely noticable and only in certain scenes -- and that's only if you are actually looking for it. I am really glad I finally found a big TV with an IPS panel, and at a bargain price. Nice! AndyH

This tv is very nice it’s thin weighs like nothing, this fit nicely on my wall and the installation was easy due to the tvs low weight. The picture quality is very nice with the blacks popping and vibrant colors. The only thing I don’t like is that it has backlight bleed on the edges which is okay I mean you don’t notice it’s when gaming or anything or the picture is full screen, the only way you see it is when the picture goes completely dark but for 600$ tax included you can’t go wrong

If I could give this TV 6 stars I would. This is our 3rd, 75in TV and we absolutely love it. Setup is a breeze, easy to install stands, easy to follow setup instructions and easy to download apps. The picture quality is great. You can choose from different picture settings for color, sharpness, and warmth or configure your own which is nice. Sound quality is great and we love the backlit remote control. Helps us see the buttons at night. The TV is heavy but it’s 75 inches and that’s to be expected. There is a ton of functionality which we still need to explore but setting up our subscriptions was very easy. Delivery was great and arrived early. For anyone thinking about buying a Hisense Google TV, definitely give it a shot. The voice recognition is spot on which is impressive. For the price, the quality, sound, color, and features its definitely worth it and not just saying that to say that.

I have been a Hisense customer since 2012, most people would usually scoff at the name since its not (LG, Samsung, Sony). They would be shocked to know this TV is cheaper in price and performs the same if not better. My first hisense was a 1080p 55" in 2012, its picture compared to all of the others at walmart was by far better, crisp and vivid colors. This is my 6th Hisense purchase, i had a 65" 4k 60hz in 2019, and just Upgraded to this awesome screen, a 75" Hisense with 144hz refresh. using this with a PC with a high end GPU is better than a high end monitor, no screen tear, has Nvidia Gsync and AMD's equivilent. The picture cannot be beat and since my 2012 hisense is STILL GOING with no issues, I will always be a Hisense Customer!
