Fast cable modem. Was a good value being refurbished. Had no issues setting up, as I was able to activate on xfinity via the mobile app on my own. Has been reliable! no connection drops/ issues.

This modem is great. Comcast sucks.. Last year I left comcast and just went comcast prepaid where they send you a cable modem and you don't have to deal with any contract nonsense, you just refill the days on your cable modem. It's $30 for the 100down 10up and $45 for the 200down 10 up on comcast prepaid. But fast forward to today when comcast is now offering me a $35 a month 300down 20up contract deal for one year now so I took the deal. Well, I'm back. Comcast lured me back in. And happy with the faster upload speeds that this cable modem can provide. Comcast will tell you you can get up to 140mbps upload speeds. But it's really only about 25mbps. Whatever, this cable modem is all you need. I'm on the 300down and 100mbps up ( really only 25mbps up in my area. And as a side note, I still have my prepaid cable internet working, I used a regular old tv cable line splitter and both the prepaid and contract comcast cable modems work at the same time, to my home! How cool is that? Anyway.. Great future proof cable modem here. I went for the renewed one and saved like $30 bucks. Why not? Renewed just means returned in this case. In fact, I've returned this exact modem about a year ago when comcast gave me the run around on the faster upload speeds.

A great, no frills cable modem for 2.5gbe speeds. Ubiquiti doesn't make a Unifi Desktop modem, so this blends in well with the white gear in my residential installs. Minus one star for the flimsy feeling stand, but really how often are you interacting with it?

A hardship really! Spent an hr. on the phone to try and activate - and Xfinity could not do! The Amazon listing says - approved by Xfinity!! Apparently not! SO have to take into a Xfinity store and have it scanned!!! I guess I will do - but certainly not expected!

Great and easy setup. This is just a router, it is not a wifi network. I combined this with a Deco mesh system. I'm getting 800mbps at the router, 600mbps at the first wireless area, and 400mbs where I couldn't get 20mbps with Xfinity's equipment (yes, their latest router and pods - as of 1/2025). Already recommended this to friends and helped one setup the same system. He still sucks at Rocket League, but at least he can't blame it on lag. Now if only Xfinity could provide a consistent speed on their end.

Item works as advertised. I'll save in monthly leasing fees that will have this paid for in less than a year.

My modem was still attached to someone else's Xfinity account. So now I have to go through the process of getting it unattached. It's 2025 and nobody has figured out a better way to resolve this from the customer and seller point of view. So if you buy this modem it might take a while to get it activated so if you don't have the time just don't bother with a renewed labeled modem
