The "How to Catch" series are the best. These hardcover books are great very holidays or just for fun. They are very colorful and exciting to read. The Elf one is adorable per usual. I would recommend all of these books.

We have dozens of books "How to Catch...," and both of my daughters (ages 7 and 3) love them all! The illustrations are bright and cute, and the stories are simple yet captivating. The covers are also delightful to touch, feeling velvety and matte.

I think that they'll like this one. I bought 5 of this book, so that they aren't fighting over it between each other. I found it to be easy to read and understand. My niece and nephews (ages 7 - 13) should enjoy it, as they have The Elf On The Shelf. Something to help their imaginations along....

The story line in this beautiful kids book is so adorable. Mischievous elf trying to get his way out of some trouble spots. The are is fabulous and I love the riming story. Paired it with cute elf found on Amazon.

This is the perfect story to keep young ones believing. Might even work along with Elf on the Shelf if they stop at your house. Students at school (K - 2nd Grade) love the story too.

Love the pics- the story was a little hard for the 3 year olds to follow. But they loved the pics- so we mostly just made up our own story. Pics held their attention. Maybe next year the story will make more sense to them. Still recommend

My 5 years grandson is a good reader and loves this book. The elf on the shelf delivered the book which made it more special. Beautiful illustrations.

Seriously a bestseller? No plot just pictures to sell the book.
The Snow Alien Complete Series is far better but nowhere near the scam Amazon charts

Some children's books are PAINFUL to read at bedtime, so I'm often leary of holiday books especially - but this was cute! I enjoyed it! I liked that there was 3 variations for my kids. (elf, snowman, gingerbread man)

Ignoring the lack of story line and the dreadful attempts at rhyme, there is simply too much violence for a book for small children and certainly not at Christmas. We want feel good stuff at this time of year. I hadn't realised that it was an Americanised text so British children won't know what a touche is etc. I was looking for cheap children's books to give out at a party. So desperately let down by this that it went straight in the charity bag to donate but was worried about even doing that as I feel it's inappropriate.
