Not backlit. Doesn’t recognize multi-tap functionality, so you can’t pinch to zoom in or out. Batteries not included, which is fine because I can’t seem to find a spot for the batteries. It must use those flat watch type batteries in the spine somewhere because this thing just keeps on going. I’ve been reading them for over 7 days without replacing the batteries or docking the books back into their box station. Every time I’ve opened it, the page is there, not even fading. Like I’ve said, I’ve had this thing on maximum contrast and brightness settings for over a week, amazing battery life! One criticism when you close it; it won’t remember where you last left off. There is a life hack for that though; if you look at the spine of the book, you can see crease marks, so make a line from the last crease mark to the opposite side and you’ll be close to the last spot you browsed in your history. No built in GPS tracking, so try not to loose it. Also, the IP rating is 00, meaning it’s not water proof at all. IP01 would be resistant to condensation, but this book isn’t even rated for that. Putting it in rice did nothing to save it. I mean, it still functions, but the overall image on any page I bring up is kinda wavy now. Getting it wet pretty much voids the warranty. Also, not fire resistant. On drop testing; it performed well. From both 3 feet and 5 feet it survived being dropped onto concrete. Minor scuffs to the spine at best. For recycling purposed and to be Earth friendly green; this product can be recycled or repurposed into various art projects. Overall, it’s a durable product and good investment.

The Deluxe Hunger Games Collection in paperback are absolutely gorgeous. I love, love, love them! The books are each a different color cover and different colors for each for the sprayed edges. The print is good which makes them very readable. They also include a decorative slip case. I highly recommend!

I love the hunger games series! They came in perfect condition and were a fun read! If it is your first time reading be aware that this is more of a young adult read. Talks about some serious topics like human trafficking, child exploitation, and lots of gruesome deaths. Still fun to read but read with an open mind that the books are not the same as the movies and Katniss is an unreliable narrator.

This book set is gorgeous, from the beautifully toned cover art to the print on the edge of the pages, this set is a must have if you love the hunger games.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. The in-depth look at the world the book presents gets me thinking about human nature. The story is so perfectly crafted and I hope and pray while await the 5th book in March. 5 stars, no question.

i bought these as this series was a childhood favorite and i’ve not read the prequel. all of the books had a couple of small black marks on the pages. it looks like ink but i’m not really sure. they’re small enough that it’s not a big problem, but sometimes it muddies a letter or two. the covers are beautiful though!

The movie forever is my favorite series, then when I remembered that I never read the book versions, I had to buy them! Great option for a great price

Plastic wrap around set was torn a bit but since each volume was wrapped it didn't matter. Nicely printed on what appears to be quality paper. The set ended up costing only about $10 more than the soft cover at the time. Very pleased with purchase.
