Lysa is, once again, raw, genuine, and mindful in every word. Run! Don’t walk to get this book, especially if you are working on trust issues or you’ve been through tough situations that broke your trust of people, the church, or organizations. Lysa always writes from a Biblical and mental health standpoint. Every book I read of hers makes me feel like she gets me! Wonderful and highly recommend!

I had the privilege to receive an advanced reading copy from Lysa and her team. I can relate to this book and know I’m not the only one feeling stuck or lost when dealing with trust issues. I have learned so much about how to deal with and heal within myself. Also, how to see and know the red flags when it comes to trusting what is safe for myself and my well-being. I will highly recommend it for everyone to read this book it will not disappoint. It was truly an honor to read this book and also to be reminded of God’s word when dealing with trust issues or anything in life and that is what Liza reminds us during our difficult times. This book has all the feels! I couldn't put it down, as each page was something I could relate to, write about or just sit and think of my past and present in tears. And, encouraging me for the future. This book contains scriptures, life stories and reviews and reflections all intended for healing and growing! So, thankful to find this book that helps find the words to my pain, yet knowing God is in it all!

If you’ve experienced betrayal of any kind; friendship, spousal, co-worker or family; then this book is for you. The way this book has touched my heart and mind is almost too difficult for words. Through this book Lysa, helps you recognize that just because your trust has been broken or you feel that you’ve been betrayed beyond repair, there is hope, healing and even joy when you press into Jesus. Truth; chapters 1-8 had me taking note after note while the rest of the book I recognized that I’m not quite at that point of my healing journey yet so I’m greatly looking forward to reading this book again as a heal and grow through this process in my life! Lysa wrote a raw book regarding trust. Some things were possibly too personal, was that me or the book, I don't know, but sometimes it takes baring the skeletons to learn to trust again. The book provides interactive thoughts at the end of each passage which I liked as it was almost like a daily devotion to finish off the chapters.

Lysa TerKeurst will forever be my favorite author because her heart shines through the pages. She’s authentic, real and is always pointing to the Word of God. She feels like a sister or an aunt that is a well of wisdom for life’s very real situations that at times, especially with betrayal, can seem hard to navigate and heal from. Lysa did it again! I preordered this book during a time I was wrestling with trust issues with God surrounding infertility. Little did I know, in-between the time I preordered and the time the book was released, I’d walk through a very similar experience as Lysa in my own marriage. This book put words to the feelings in my heart and soul. Lysa is always able to so beautifully articulate exactly what I’m feeling. I’m so grateful for this book and the tools within it. It’s already made an impact on my life, and I imagine I will keep returning to my highlights and bookmarked pages when I need a reminder or dose of inspiration. I have purchased all of Lysa Terkuerest books. I love her writing style - like a friendly chat over a cup of coffee. And packed full of great nuggets.

I wish I had this book 20 years ago!! But thankful I have it today.
