I have been looking for a Taiwanese product, which is famous for high heat cooking. Since they have been out of stock for long time I decided to buy IKTCH wall-mount version. I have used it for about a week. I am very happy with this product. It is very powerful, but very quiet. The timer keeps it running for another few minutes after cooking. That helps a lot. The cooking leaves no bed smell in the house. Plus, cleaning is so easy. I have used several models over the years. So far, this one is the best at a very reasonable cost.

Installation on this was overall fairly easy. I think the trickiest part was getting the two U shaped sleves not to scratch each other while you push them up where you need them to measure where exactly things will go prior to final installation. Upon initially unboxing the instructions said to test the functionality, so I did that, however testing the motion sensing didn't "A" sound like something I needed to test, and "B" didn't describe how to really get it to work very easily so since everything else worked fine, whisper quiet, we proceeded with the install. Once installed, the motion was infact not working :(. Reaching out to amazon they did offer to do a refund on it even though it was a few days past the refund window. However I asked if the company instead could fix it as we really wanted to keep the unit. The only thing this unit could do better than its advertised to do is turn on automatically when it detects a specific level of heat below [we all can dream]. Upon discussing the issues with the company we did have to provide a great deal of details to identify if this unit was part of a bad batch of units with regards to motion. Upon completing that, they very quickly like almost over night sent a replacement sensor bar, and it was not too hard to swap out. We are so happy with the look, ease of use, and its overal functionality with regards to getting cooking smoke/steam up and out quickly and quietly. It does fit 9' ceilings with a very gracious amount of space between the cook surface and the unit excellent for GAS ranges. Very easy to clean so far.

Great product. Out of the box, installation was not difficult but that is also because I replaced an existing vent. Even if it was on a new wall, I don’t think installation would be an issue for someone who is a bit handy with tools. Removing the protective film was a job for sure. After installing, this works great. It has been about 4 weeks and the fan is quiet, and the flow of air is great. It moves a lot of air at lowest speed and we have mostly used it on 1 or 2 speed while doing a lot of Indian cooking. The hood is large and looks nice and sturdy. The bad - the motion sensor worked for first 10 minutes. It doesn’t matter what I do now, it does not work. The buttons to turn on the light and fan are all touch buttons. You must look at the button and press the right place, and sometime I have to find the right place to press the button. They really should replace it with something else. Other issue is how it changes the speed. You must go linear from speed 1 to 2 to 3 and 4, and then off. So from speed 1 to turn off, you must press the button 4 times. You can hit the power button as well, but that mean next time you need to power on before use it. It’s just bad interface. The best part is how much airflow it handles at a low noise. The filters are high quality and I can put them in dishwasher. I think it is great value for money.

I bought 2 of these range hoods. I needed replacement of 2 parts, we contacted IKTCH directly through Facebook messenger. Emma responded immediately and promptly got the parts to us! She was one of the best customer service representative I have ever worked with, she was knowledgeable, so very helpful and easy to work with, we had the needed parts in hand within a week! I would recommend this product as well as this company and especially Emma!

I don't take the time to write product reviews, but this unit really irritated me on the install enough that I'll leave some feedback. I really felt for the price, I was paying a premium for a greater amount of airflow in addition to quality. I feel this unit is pretty much the same housing as all these other SS models that look like this, with POSSIBLY a different fan attached to the underside. Speaking of the fan, the screws that hold the venting duct to the top of the fan DO NOT LINE UP with the threads in the fan below. I had to modify my $430 vent hood 3x to enlarge those holes enough for the screws to line up otherwise the cheap black plastic piece that the ducting attaches to would not attach to the fan. These are all the same generic pieces you'd get with a $150 vent hood that looks just like this without the "hands free/motion" feature. Really feel like I overpaid, thinking i got something MUCH better, when it's really not much better than something 1/3 of the price. Fit and finish for install was not adequate, nor were instructions.

Very good product. Looks great, works as advertised. My unit did not respond to gesture controls, I contacted IKTCH support and they send me replacement control panel. Everything works. You cannot beat this value for a price. When I was shoping for kitchen appliances at PC Richard, I showed this product to my sales person and he couldn't believe it exist. Highly recommend.

I recently installed this range hood and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance, design, and quiet operation. It has strong suction power that easily clears smoke, steam, and odors, even during heavy cooking, and the multiple fan speeds offer great flexibility. This 30" iKTCH IKP02 was very easy to install. The manual is very easy to follow, plus there are videos on Youtube that shows how to install it, if you are a visual person (which I found very helpful). This product is very well made and looks great in our kitchen. There are 4-fan speeds and they work like a charm. You can hear and see how well it functions. Cleaning the filters are a cinch! You can either wash them in your dishwasher or spray them with a degreaser and soak them in your sink. They don't need replaced, just need washed. How much easier could it be! We are so happy with our new range hood, and the high-tech motion sensor controls really bring it up a notch...and it also has a remote control to boot...whats not to love about this. We truly highly recommend this product if you are looking for a nice, well made, good quality product without breaking your bank and still get a high quality producrt.

Ultimately this is a great range hood. Powerful. Sleek. Well made. Sharp looking. Communication with the company was great. The installation manual was thorough but the minimum required height for the chimney was not stated so I had to make adjustments after I had installed the main hood. I drafted a quick sketch that might help.
