I received my counter top ice maker today. I will wait 24 hours as the instruction label states before testing it so the refrigerant can settle after shipping. Upon opening the box I saw that it was well packaged and it arrived in very good condition. The instructions seem easy to follow and the controls look simple enough. I like the fact that the ice basket has a handle which makes it easy to remove once it is full and it has a place to store the ice scoop. I am looking forward to setting it up tomorrow and provide an update to my review. 4/7/25 Update: We have ice cubes! I added water to the reservoir, pressed the power button and before I knew it ice cubes were being placed into the basket. The noise level isn't bad and while it is running in the kitchen you don't really notice that it is running until the ice cubes drop into the basket. You have the option of making large or small ice cubes and once the basket is full, it stops making ice and the indicator light on the panel turns on. ~ Convenient size? YES ~ Quiet operation? YES ~ Easy to follow instructions and control panel? YES This is a great product and I can't wait to use it this summer in my camper.

We purchased this icemaker because we our now new campers. You always need ice. It is very easy and makes ice pretty quick. When you are in a camper, the space is pretty confined so you hear everything. After a while, you get used to it. I ran it first with clean water and dumped all the ice to try it before we actually used it. I just didn't want any plastic or factory residue in it. The only negative and it really isn't a negative but some may think it is, is that it comes out kind of wet so when you put it in the freezer for later use, it is stuck together and need to use a nice or pick to separate the ice. This does not stop me from giving it a 5 star review. We are heavy ice users. We like a lot of ice in our drinks. So, one basket is probably enough for or one of our drinks. The pictures are of the ice for large cubes. Highly recommend.

This is my first countertop machine. It does a great job. Speed-wise, you basically have to make the ice well in advance. For instance, if you like to start your morning off with a large iced Americano, you either need to have some pre-made ice in the freezer, or you will have to start this machine as soon as you roll off the bed. The only negatives I can think of is that there is no auto shut-off. Also, when I plugged this in for the first time and ran a few ice making cycles, I noticed a lot of these really creepy black plastic specks that kept appearing in the water basin. So gross. I was so put off by it that I considered returning the machine, but once I got through those initializing cleaning steps, everything was perfect.

As fun as it is to use it's hard to keep up with me on ice. One basket fills my tall stainless steel insulated thermos. The level of the noise isn't bad but it makes such a different noise then what I'm use to I keep thinking there's something in my kitchen. It's nice to know though where your ice is coming from and tastes great. I use distilled water I've heard things you put water in last longer without minerals. If I grow tired of making my own ice I'm going to try putting natural flavored water in it see what happens. Lemon essence would be wonderful.

The ice maker in our refrigerator stopped making ice. It will dispense ice, just not make it. The refrigerator itself is working great. At first I ordered ice cube trays but that got to be a pain. We ordered this counter ice maker and it works really well. After it makes the ice, I just dump it in the freezer ice maker. We're very happy with it. The ice is thinner than regular ice but I don't care, it saves me buying a new refrigerator.

It makes ice exactly as promised. Lol! Based on reviews here and on other ice makers, I knew I would just need to stay on top of clearing the ice out. The basket fills up in about an hour. They are definitely not as solid as ice coming out of the freezer, but that should be expected. This is not a refrigerated unit. I was able to just transfer the ice into containers I had prepared for the freezer ahead of time. I love the size of the small. It worked right out of the box, which is also a plus (I bought a unit from another company that did not and started smoking...). The unit in self clean mode is pretty quiet. When making ice however, it is a bit noiser. It is in a different room from where we spend most of our time, so the noise ends up not even being an issue. It's a soft hum. Not an obnoxious sound. Almost like white noise. Overall, very happy with this unit.

Works well. Faster when the water is cold. Makes about 1/2 of a gallon zip lock bag of ice cubes in about an hour. Put in freezer and they last and are great. No problem yet. Have only used it 4 times but expect to get lots of use.
