The book “In Vogue: An illustrated History of the World’s Most Famous Fashion Magazine” is very valuable to me, because it presents the ideological and artistic approach to the creation of a magazine, which is of the industry of Fashion and also at the core of the entire industrial world of our time, in a very detailed, very easy to understand and estethically appealing way. Illustrations together with photographs and text are combined on a paper surface of a high-quality, and with a very skilled photographic approach. It could be a valuable source of inspiration to graphic designers, to illustrators, to photographers, and to textile and clothing specialists together with those specialists of Architecture. I am an Architect myself, but I needed an extended education, as much as possible, on the subject of cloth manufacturing and the appropriate use of products from the fashion industry, and I also wanted to subscribe to the magazine at some point, which were the main reasons I bought this book. The book also collates together color representations on paper of those, choices, materials, approaches, used in this industry, which is something of a great importance to all people who work for the built and created material environment, with its relation to the philosophical base on which the material world stands firm.

My bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She’s in to fashion and she’s super inspired to continue to do more photoshoots with using different concepts but putting her own twist to it.

Amazing-looking volume with a wide range of the some of best vouge photographic masterpieces. The sticker on the cover is indeed a blemish on this beautiful volume. I have not attempted to remove it yer...

This is a "must have" coffee table book. As a fan of anything relating to the era of the Gilded Age, I was so happy to see that so much information about that time in history is included in the beginning of the book, explaining how it all started and how it was the time of the Astors and other influential families. It even includes the many covers of vogue throughout the different eras. I also loved how it was divided in different sections marking each Vogue editor's influence and contribution. There are so many pictures and extensive writing lending insight into the many faces of the magazine from its inception to more recent times. A very well-written and researched book.

A feast for the eyes if you want to look at the pictures and a treasure if you want to read. It's the ultimate Vogue Book! Not happy with the packaging that Cloudtail uses as the book had dents on the edges.
