lower priced stand has very well made parts, and is very stable. The microphone clip at the end is great. There is a clip to hold the microphone cord. Easy and positive controls to adjust the height and angle.

Bought this for portable use and the carry case. The stand is solid and the three telescopic section in the base work well, but the joints are a little large. Fine for portable or studio use. Boom is also telescopic. When extended it doesn't balance like straight boom mics, but the telescopic collapse works well in tight spaces like a corner or close to a wall.

This is verified heavy duty. Yes, there are cheap plastic parts like most stands, but the metal is thicker than the really cheap ones and the base is weightier. In terms of the boom, it holds my Blue Yeti. I thought that was really great. It hold it extended out without drooping. What I learned is the Yeti mic is not as heavy as I thought despite how giant it is. Debating whether to keep or not because I learned how to turn up master volume in Screenflow, but I like this so I'll probably keep it. Since it's a floor mic, I can pound the desk and that won't be heard. Also, my desk cannot take a clamp because it has boards on the side. A floor stand or mic on books is all I got. However, I'm impressed with this heavy duty stand that is easy to pack.

I love how sturdy this product is! It’s easy to assemble. My concern was the weight of the microphone and the vocal box that I have but it’s Stable and holds the microphone very well, Even though it’s lightweight. Very functional! Good value for money, Highly recommended!

Great for the price! I will say this is awesome I’ve used it for a year straight to make videos and it does the job. My only complaint is that there is wiggle room with every adjustment and if you have a heavier mic set up then it’ll be a tad harder to get the EXACT position you want. It’s stable and super light With a lot of adjustment for height and length

Amazing microphone stand. Excellent build quality. Very configurable and sturdy while still being lightweight and portable.

I would say that this is a very good product. You can make any adjustment that you need and the price is great. It is sturdy but if you set up the boom and your mic is on the heavier side; make sure to line it up with one of the 3 legs on the base. It is made well with a nice finish and everything fits together very well.
