I saw 40 cats chasing this thing on a Jackson Galaxy video. My cat hates it. When I first turned it on she stared at it, when it move toward her, she fled in terror then sat in the next room growling at it (from behind the safety of a door). She is not a fan. Oh well. As for the toy, it functions exactly as designed. It is pretty amazing. It has a short USB-A charging cord. It has 3 operational modes: Fast, Slow, Interactive. I let it roll around for a while. It is brilliant at getting unstuck from corners without assistance. It has a randomized pattern of operation, in fast mode it would alternate with long and short runs, flipping around occasionally. The interactive mode does not roll very far and vibrates more. It has lights on it: Blue fast mode, purple slow mode, yellow interactive mode, it glows red briefly to shut off. It makes a little bit of noise. If I was a cat I would love this thing. I don't think my cat is going to get over it though.

I love this toy, maybe more than my cat. It keeps my extra needy cat focused on the ball so I can go about my day even for a brief moment. Pros - Sturdy: I've been using this almost daily for 3 months now. It still runs great and keeps my active cat occupied. I'm surprised how sturdy it is especially since it is always running into walls and objects. - Auto On and Off: Even in purple mode, the toy will shut off and turn on at timed intervals and also activate when touched like the yellow mode. - Easy to Clean: The tail is easy to remove and the ball is easy to disassemble from the clear plastic to remove any hairs that get caught. Cons - Loud: It is loud when it's rolling around and bumping into everything, but anything to keep my cat busy and for a moment to myself. - Battery Life: I have to charge it often, about once every 1-3 days, but the auto on and off helps and it charges fairly quickly.

This thing is tons of fun. We love to watch our cats race around to watch it from a distance. The battery life is great and it almost never gets stuck or lost. Well ... the main robot part doesn't get lost. The little red tails on the other hand do get lost very easily. It comes with an extra one, but we have already lost both tails. It would be nice if there were a way to order more, but I have not found one. The cats love it but the thing is so quick and crashes into things with such force that they are kind of intimidated by it sometimes. Even our fearless kitten has to work up the courage to approach it. It might be less annoying and intimidating if the main body was more rubbery and less hard, so that it made a more organic noise when it crashed into things. Overall though, it is probably the best value for a robot cat toy that you are going to find. And they are entertained by it. I think they might even miss it when it's charging. I've caught them sniffing around the area we let it run, maybe looking for it.

I have a (spoiled) 4 month old Schnauzer and this is the GREATEST toy for a puppy EVER. This is not hyperbole, folks. The toy is durable, unpredictable, makes different sounds, is lit up and has been entertaining my pup for more than 10 minutes. I can hear her panting. The durability and fast, unpredictable movements are impressive. It's been darting in and out from under my couch and is giving the pup great fun. She's batting at it. Stepping on it. Chasing after it. Hunting for it (when it's under the couch). It is 100% entertaining her. She's gonna need a nap after ward. I just bought 2 more. I'm a very happy customer.

I purchased 2 of these in blue for my kitties. Within minutes of putting them together and turning them on, all of my cats were in hunting mode. Running wild around the house chasing these. They were entertained for over an hour. Pros: Entertainment. Both for the cats but also humans. Especially if you have more than one going at the same time and/or more than one cat chasing. Battery. The battery lasts quite a long time. I'd say i've gotten several hours of use in between each charge. I also love that it is rechargeable instead of battery change out. This reduces cost and adds to the ease of use. It seems really safe. The attachment tail is a thick and durable rope. Several of my cats have chewed heavily at it and have not caused damage. I also love that it comes with a second tail attachment in the box, to trade out as necessary. Cons: It doesn't run well on carpet. Luckily, only one room of my home is carpeted, so it rarely ends up in there. Hair collection. Even if you think you have vacuumed well, the rubber outside of the toy will collect every stray fur and by the end be coated in a thick layer. A pro to this problem is that with a paper towel and temporary pop out of the tail, it's fairly simple to clean. Sometimes they get stuck going in one direction and it's impossible to put them back on a course that doesn't keep targeting one specific corner. On a last note, they do make a bird chirp noise every few minutes. My cats really love this. My cats loved these so much that I also bought 2 in red. Now i run all four at once for perfect playful chaos. The kitties do not seem to have a color preference and use both the blue and red equally.

Enfin !
