I purchased two of these about 4-5 months apart. The newest one had some design changes to it that I hope addresses some issues I faced with my first one. Overall, it is a well built bracket that does what it says on the tin, but has some innate limits to how much weight it can support without resorting to DIY workarounds. Pros: - Very sturdy steel brackets - Easy to mount - No need to drill holes or otherwise damage your desk - Perfect for standing desks / mobile workstations - Revised design on the screw-side grip pad addresses and issue with the original design where the rubber ring would slip off when you clamped it too tight - Very accommodating to all sizes of pc cases. This is a huge point for me because other clamps on the market wouldn't have fit my 9" wide case. Cons: - Clamping mechanism has limited grip strength, leading to slippage over time. Specifically, the bottom bracket bears all the weight so it can slowly slide down, while the top one stays up. - Because it clamps to the leg, if you crank it too tight, it can make the desk have trouble going up and down. - My original clamp slipped and dropped my PC when the adhesive between the rubber grip and the leg peeled apart. I'm hoping my new one uses different adhesive, and I've taken other measures to reduce the chance of a drop. Despite these cons, I don't necessarily fault the product for the issues I faced. It worked great for me for months until I upgraded from a ~15lb PC to a ~20lb one. That's when I started to face issues with slipping and the adhesive. Luckily, in my case there was a pretty easy workaround. I purchased some 4' nylon tie-down straps and connected the top and bottom brackets together. This makes it so that the bottom bracket can't pull away from the top one, keeping my PC safe from tipping over and falling off. I also looped a second strap through some holes in my desk frame to hopefully help support my heavier computer a bit better. I think it would be great if a future version of this product came with features that made this set up less janky, like a ring or slot on each bracket for a strap to go through.

This was fairly easy to put together. It seems pretty solid. I have it on a rolling cart desk right now with the monitor arm on the other side to balance the weight. So far so good. This actually wasn't the planned use for it when I ordered it, but this thing is almost as heavy as my computer and I wasn't sure the motor on my standing/sitting desk could handle having the weight of the holder and computer on the part of the leg that raises the desk. It holds my short tower (Dell XPS) perfectly.

If you have the tools to tighten it more then what you need to by hand it will work for you but if not it will fall within a day or two. Mine fell but thank God I had the desk at a low height. If you have Hex keys and over tighten it to be super tight to the leg then it will work for you. Update! Well it fell 2 more times, I recommend spending the extra money and get something that holds better. Mind you my desk stays at it’s normal height almost all the time. I think I will try some liquid nail fuze it to glue it on and try that. I passed my return time. So let’s see

To start it was great. Loved the color, clamps were good, it was quite sturdy. Then yesterday came. From the top clamp where that little hand is to protect the glass as it pulls the pc back to hold it straight was starting to slip so I straightened out my pc again. I guess the same adhesive they used for that they also used for the bottom clamp. I came back home to my pc on the floor and saw the bottom clamp on the sitting/standing desk leg. Upon inspection the clamp itself was slipping from the double adhesive sided tape that was used to protect the metal leg from the metal clamp and my pc slipped right out. No damage done and no broken glass. But a panel did pop out lol. In summary don’t put a pc that’s close to the weight threshold of this thing because it’s not true. They need to lower it. The reason why I put 2 stars is bc I really did like it and wanted it to work out but it could’ve done some damage. BUT IF YOUR PC IS A THIRD OF THE THRESHOLD WEIGHT OR LESS I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, seriously it looks good and I’m assuming will be okay for you.

Pay attention to the dimensions of the bottom tray, the supporting arm, and also the weight limitation before ordering. My gaming PC measures 8" wide x 15" tall and weighs about 30 lbs. Dimensionally, it should fit on this mount, but since my computer chassis isn't perfectly rectangular, the support was off balance and too wobbly for my comfort. It doesn't help that the chassis has to sit on the lipped edge because the tray isn't wide enough. Also, the top adjustable arm doesn't provide a good enough grip to stabilize it. I'm disappointed this clamp mount isn't the best choice for my PC, since the metal pieces are thick and durable. But it works great for smaller devices and for keeping my headphones tidy.

The JOY Clamp-on Desk Leg PC Mount is a solid option if you’re looking to get your CPU off the floor and into a safer, more practical spot. The standout feature is its C-clamp design — it attaches securely to your desk leg without the need for drilling, which is great for protecting your furniture and keeping things flexible. It’s especially handy if you’re using a standing desk, as it holds your PC steady during movement. Installation is a breeze thanks to the included hardware and guide, and the steel build feels sturdy enough to last. Now for the downside — while it’s super adjustable, you do have to make sure your desk leg isn't too thick or oddly shaped, otherwise the clamp might not sit perfectly flush. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to check before buying. All in all, this mount is a smart solution for saving space and keeping your PC secure and dust-free. + No-drill setup + Fits most PCs + Heavy-duty steel + Scratch protection + Standing desk ready Hope this was helpful!
