I really like the longevity of these shadow sticks. They work really well, especially when you are in a hurry. They glide on smooth. Very easy to blend. You can use your finger or a brush to blend. Nice colors.

Tried so many other eyeshadow sticks, but Julep is the best. Colors are so natural, so easy to apply, glides on like butter and blends easily before it dries. Way better than Bobbi Brown crayon which costs twice as much and does not blend at all without tugging the delicate skin of eye area (a wrinkle generator). I bought Julep many times now, love the matte color sticks.

Had been a BE user for 15+yrs, Leslie always managed sophisticated shimmers (ie, gorgeous purples that didn’t scream Barney) that weren’t too young (iridescent sparkles) or too old (dusty mauve). When she left I kind of bounced all over. Tried Thrive for a bit, loved the idea of the sticks for time constraints, they look like you put a lot of work in but are so forgiving. My issue was that I could not find cool colors; every brown, or taupe was a horrid boring caramel, honey looking color on me. Taupe is supposed to be grey cool undertone! I saw these on Pinterest I think last week and, as usual, checked Amazon so I didn’t have to start another account, with another password, giving out my email, giving my card info etc. I ordered the Taupe Shimmer (top in each pic) first by itself STUNNING, and easily see it could go either way. Then I ordered a duo of Champagne Shimmer and Midnight Blue (bottom 2 in pics) never would I have worn a blue before, but this deep navy is again stunning. I was so in love I bought the Moonlight 6pc (the middle 6) in order, 4 Shimmers: Rainstorm, Pearl, Mink Mauve, Orchid, and 2 mattes Stone & Onyx. Again, they could go both ways, the Mink & Orchid could go coppery but have just enough pinky-ness in them that they look cool on me. The matte stone is a perfect taupe. I have oilier lids and these do well, the midnight needs to set a bit before you try to blend but the beauty of the stick is that they are easily thrown in a bag and touch up is easy. I might get a primer next go round, but I am beyond thrilled. For reference, hair was the darkest shade of brown, one up from black, before I went completely silver. I have olive undertones.

Love these. Good combo of colors. Blend nicely. Comfortable and not at all sticky to wear. Don’t crease much (a little by the end of a long day), and don’t fall down or get smeary. Have recommended to several people. I use them most days.

Nice colors, long wear but super disappointed that such a large tube holds less than an inch of product!!! Won’t buy again. I’d rather spend more money to get more product through Thrive Causmetics.

Click to play video I used to love my eye shadow palettes but I’ve switched to stick eye shadow and I’ll never go back! I love not messing with an eye shadow brush. I love that on most days I can scribble it on like a kid with a crayon and it’s fine. I wear sand shimmer (the sparkliest, but not tacky / in your face sparkly) or the champagne shimmer (very subtle) basically every day. Sometimes I use one of my other (many) colors from this brand, but I really stick pretty close to my favorites. I think it lasts pretty well through the day. The colors aren’t very aggressive, and when you put on the darker color, if it’s too dark fit you, blending it even a little lightens it quite a bit. I think the colors blend together nicely. My favorite combo is the copper or cocoa shimmer with either the sand or champagne shimmer and the pearl shimmer. I own a lot of the mattes too, and I like mattes, so I think maybe I just prefer the shimmer in this format or this brand. The matte ones don’t go on as smoothly or blend as well. As an aside, I got a set for one of my friends who always has her lashes done because she was telling me how she couldn’t wear eye shadow because the powder would fall in her lashes and decrease the lifespan of her lashes, so I got her the eye shadow sticks thinking maybe that would solve her problem, and she loves them!

These eyeshadows go on much darker than they appear. Plus the first one I opened was broken… the color fell out of the stick and made a mess on the floor! Too expensive for poor quality

I love these eyeshadows, both the matte and shimmer sticks have lovely colours and they go on smoothly and even better no having to get messy fingers smudging the colour into your eyelids as there’s a handy sponge on the other end to use.
