It's a good lamp and it's very bright. With remote control it's easy to operate and to change level of brightness.

Most importantly, I like the light. It does a great job. It has a fair number of steps between dim and full bright as well as warm to cold white light. I do wish it got warmer, but I like warmer lights than most people... I normally keep it at med low brightness and the most warm light setting. When I need to really look at something, like working on electronics or something, I no longer need another light, I pull the arms towards me, turn up the brightness and the white(blue) level. It is a very nice and versatile lamp. The remote is dumb, and the lamp is dumb. The lamp should be dumber. The remote shouldn't exist. Remote issues aside, why do you even need a remote for a light you will use at your computer, for which the monitor it hangs over is within arms reach? Nice concept for accent lighting or something, but not here. That's not all though. The remote control system doesn't work correctly, it's not a deal breaker but just why...? The lamp has a touch area on top, it should just turn off the lamp, and turn it back on to the last used settings. Then I could just put the remote into a drawer and only pull it out when I need to change settings. It doesn't. What does it do? Who knows? Push it a few times and it will turn off. When it turns on again, it might be full white or full warm, full mix... Push it again, will move to another color temperature, then another, then off... The top touch button on the lamp is essentially useless unless you like the default settings that it has and can figure out the code. (down up left right a b a b select start, lol). The remote. You push the power button once to turn the remote on, then it works. So you push it, the red light on the remote comes on, press it again and the light turns on to the previously used settings. Win! Often adjusting the color temp down, it changes the brightness instead. It gets confused... I turn the light off every night when I am done in my office. Every week or so, I come into my office and the light is on full bright full white(blue), which is a setting I never use. It's on my UPS so it's not a power issue. Again these issues are a minor nuisance, but needless ones. Just put the controls on the lamp itself and have it remember the last settings when you turn it off and on. Save the cost of making a remote control that I don't need and putting another device on my desk.. The only reason I would tell anyone not to buy this is if they didn't want or have room for a hockey puck sized remote in a convenient place, or using it somewhere like a bedroom where it coming on full bright occasionally would be an issue.

This light has all the bells and whistles. I love the ability to control how much light, the direction of the light and warmth vs coolness. Having a remote if great as I have it at the highest point and am a short gal.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) I have been putting up with all sorts of lights that really never worked optimally for me, until I found this KSTARITE dual lamp. Talk about problem solved! I'm an artist and a writer besides, and this light or lights haven't been resolved for me for quite some time. I needed very bright lights and great coverage to boot to really cover each corner of both my computer and art workstations. This dual lamp was slightly disassembled, quickly put together in less than 2 minutes, and clamped to my desk right after. The gooseneck portion of the stand is flexible and easy to set to the right height for both workstations. It seems pretty well made too. The only mini hiccup was trying to turn this light on in my (dark) office, as this lamp operates with a remote (a puck really)...so had to figure out how the buttons work on the remote as they operate a bit differently than most remotes. Once the settings were figured out, with help from the manual, I had no issues here on out. Being that the remote is a dark color, I need to remember to leave it in the same spot to find it, and unfortunately, the icons don't light up to help you out (hint, hint to the manufacturer to try to improve that to see in a dark room, and I say that kindly). Oh, you have to turn the remote on first, then press the brightness, color temp, and timer. You can't just activate the buttons other than the on switch first. I mean, now that I think of it, my other remotes like for the tv work that way. I had a weak light prior to this one that I didn't have to do that, so I guess I'm on auto pilot... ;o) No matter, as this light is BRIGHT and adjustable, and to put it simply, it WORKS! Hooray! Small advice: when assembling, make sure to tighten the stand to the base, prior to clamping it on the desk, as it will swivel to and fro if you overlook that... as it happened to me. I quickly fixed that and everything is great! Isn't that the whole point of a terrific light? Simple and to the point! Need I tell you that this lamp is a great buy? Only $23.99 at the time of this review! ;o) Highly recommended! Give this affordable KSTARITE LED DUAL Architect Gooseneck Lamp with Clamp (24 W) a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase. *********************************************************** May Your Autumn Be Full Of FUN! ;o) Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.

I purchased one for work and home. Love the way the light covers the entire desk. I donโt like bright fluorescent lighting. The warm settings this provides is perfect. Only downfallโฆIโm having a difficult time using the remote to turn off the light.

This is easily the best designed desk lamp I have. The tow arms swing in and out around the center and tilt along the lamp axis making them really awesome for making a video of something on your desk without shadows. If and when I need another lamp I will be buying another one.
