Therese work really well, strong hold and snug fit. They may seem like they don't fit at first but they do.

I have these for over a year and a half now and have no complaints at all. They came packaged well and are pretty easy to assemble. I used mine with 12 gauge wire and these have plenty of room to go bigger if desired. So far, no discoloration. They seem to hold up pretty well but it is not like I plug and unplug them frequently. I'm pretty happy with my purchase of the KabelDirekt – Banana Plugs – 10 Pairs (for Speaker Wire, AWG 10-16, Allow Flexible Connection to Speakers, amplifiers, A/V receivers, Power amplifiers & Stereo Systems, Fixing Screws, Gold Plated). The only thing I would wish for to make this a better buy for me is a lower price.

Seem to be well made and solid. How ever some of the set screw holes are nor machined very well Hard to tighten down or back out. Also had to squeeze the prongs with pliers to get them to insert into my Polk speakers and Denon receiver. Would have been 5 star except for these two problems.

The banana plugs are good quality and easy to use. I paired the banana plugs with KnuKonceptz Kord 10AWG speaker wire. This plug does not fit this 10awg speaker wire with the jacket deep inside the plug. I had to fit the wire in with only a tiny bit of jacket inside the plug. Still a very clean install, but I had to strip an inch and a quarter to fit. Not the banana plugs fault, the speaker wire I chose is very high quality pure oxygen free copper with a nice thick jacket. At this price there is other options with different kinds of installation styles. The other banana plug that supports 10awg speaker wire is Sewell deadbolt. If you have 12awg speaker wire monoprice banana plugs will work. From my research monoprice closed type fits 12awg max. I'm not sure about the monoprice open screw type.

These are really solid plugs and the quality is what you'd expect/hope for. Easy to tighten your cable into them and it holds tight. I had to force the pins into my speakers and receiver a little harder than I expected, but no big deal. I just pinched them a tiny bit to get them in. I don't plan on pulling them out often, so I'm hoping they'll stay firm for years to come. I haven't used others, but I researched for a good while before choosing these. I'm not disappointed and would recommend them. I bought a second set for my stereo system upstairs. I've used many cables from KabelDirekt, and those have all been high quality too. Can't go wrong with them, in my opinion.

Like the double screws, they hold the wire tight. The plugs fit tight as well. A couple were too tight, but just squeezed them with my fingers and in they went. I like the tight fit. I also like the look. Best of all, the next time I have to unplug the amp it'll be quick and easy to plug everything back in. It took just over 10 minuets to do 10 plugs. Now their all color coded +&- , so next time I'll be positive the polarity is correct. They come in a nice box as well. No negatives from me, sorry about the puns........

Professional Recording studio installation. The binding posts are solid, well-made, and the banana-post is an optimal blend of flex vs. rigidity. However, the screws that hold the wires in place - the screw head tears with minimal force. These kind of posts need an airtight seal. Attempting a moderate tightening destroys the product. The good news: there are two screw posts holes, so maybe that will hold. We'll see. If the screws were better made this would be a 5+ star product. The second photo shows how far plugs insert into the speaker. (mm ruler next to post for scale) The first photo shows full insertion at the power amp side. Hope this helps.

I used these with 12 ga Monster Cable speaker wire. As long as you have a pair of vise grips and a small flat-blade screwdriver, you will be good to go. I pulled the wire out of the insulation about an inch and used the vise grips to hold the wire while I fed it into the connector. 1. Make sure that you back out the clamping screws until no male threads are seen in the connector. 2. Twist the connector in the same direction as the speaker wire is twisted and push the speaker wire fully into the connector. 3. Tighten the clamping screw closest to the plug first and make sure that the wire is being firmly held in the connector. 4. Tighten the second clamping screw and then, in the case of Monster cable with its fairly slippery insulation, remove the vice grips and allow the insulation expand and seat against the connector. The connectors are much tighter than those of any other "banana plugs" I have used which ensures that you have a good connection to your amplifier and/or speakers.

Easy to insert the cables into them, and they're color coding is neat and simple, definitely good quality. However, I'm taking 2 stars off for how absolutely annoying the plug tips are.. They require a decent bit of pressure to plug in. Had that issue with 3 different speakers and 2 different amps, so it's not an equipment issue. A different set of plugs I have plug in smooth as butter. That's my only gripe with these.

Great price for a real quality item, I have these set up with QED silver anniversary XT cables from my JBL receiver to JBL L52 classic speakers, I found them to be well made and easy to work with, they also look great. And ... The sound quality is excellent!

I’m kind of an old-school guy who always connected speakers to my amps using the bare-wire method. I use 12 gauge wire for my mains and 18 gauge wire for the surrounds and the center. Except for the mains which were always good, I decided to upgrade the wire size of the surrounds and the center, from 18 gauge to 14 gauge, and foresaw that it was probably time to consider using banana plugs. Not knowing anything about them, however, I had no clue on which ones to buy, what is a good plug and what is a bad plug. I did my homework based on Amazon reviews and YouTube videos and decided that these plugs were probably the best way to go, and I am not disappointed. The one-piece construction is really what makes these Banana Plugs so good—there is virtually nothing that can go wrong. I was weary of plugs that utilized a two-piece design, for many people who have used plugs like this had commented that said construction is either a weakness or an outright flaw. Also, as others have pointed out, the two set screws, and not just one, ensure a perfect connection between the wire and the plug—the speaker wire and the plug virtually become one! Unlike other plugs, where others have talked about set screws that were virtually impossible to back off and therefore made for unusable plugs, the set-screws with these plugs are flawlessly smooth. Moreover, I had no problem using the plugs with my 12 gauge wire, so the range starting from 11 gauge is acurate.
