The copper wire is obviously a better conductor for speakers, the sound is fuller, richer. Thicker than the last wires that came with the speakers, still relatively easy to strip the ends for connecting. Looks more durable. Music is huge to my harmony, love this wire. Arrived in 2 days from order!

Feels substantial and still quite flexible. Not too easy or hard to separate the individual wires and the jacket strips off easily with 14awg wire strippers. Seems to be solid copper strands. Works great in my HiFi set up.

Absolutely worth it. I was using over 30 year old 16ga Radio Shack cord for my vintage 1970 Marantz system, into Wharfedale Diamond 225s I upgraded to the KabelDirekt 14 gauge using WJSTN-018 braided banana connectors as wire converters to fit the tight spring Marantz connectors. I carefully listened via my old wire prior to installing the KabelDirekt and then after, Incredible difference. Bass response was immediately noticeable. Clarity and Mid range and high separation was a major improvement. Can't believe I used that old cord for many readers is a lifetime!

This is a decent speaker cable with good real ofc copper 16 gauge! I used this 16awg ofc to splice in a second subwoofer to my Samsung Q990C soundbar as well has add external side surround and front and rear Atmos speakers! Overall good quality for the price, but the one thing I don’t like is how stiff the cable is. The pvc around the copper is thick but the strands are also thicker which makes the wire harder to bend. Only an issue is trying to run the wire in Certain scenarios. Side note, after getting this wire 50ft 16awg, I bought the Amazon basics 14awg inwall speaker wire in white 100ft for about $5 more. The flexibility of both wires (excluding the hard white outer shell) have about the same flexibility. I think I’ll have to spend more $$ if I want a truly flexible speaker wire.

My main motivation for getting this cable was the speaker manufacturer for my new front LCRs recommended 16 AWG for all short runs. I only had 18 AWG, and this wasn't expensive, so why not? Despite a handful of reviews mentioning the plastic getting stripped off when pulling apart the two cables, I didn't encounter that at all. I was able to separate the cables without any issue of the plastic insulation ripping. The first thing I noticed about the wire was that it didn't actually appear wider than my 18 AWG cable. That aside, one thing that was noticeably better was that each individual strand was significantly larger than in my previous cable, and in spite of that, the cable is still plenty flexible. I found this to be important in a good way because I've had issues with many individual strands breaking off, particularly when stripping the wire or attaching banana plugs. Did not encounter that issue at all with this cable and its meaty strands. After setting up one of my speakers with the new wire, I was curious to see if it would sound any different. After playing some music in Mono mode, I found that the low end mid range came across a bit deeper and richer than the speakers connected with my older 18 AWG cable. The highs were basically the same, but an obvious improvement at the lower end. I even asked my wife to do a blind test (she didn't know which speaker I connected), and she also picked the one with this wire as the best sounding one. All and all, this is a great copper speaker wire to get, particularly at its price. If you need new speaker wire and don't need CCA, just get this and be done with it. You'll be happy.

This wire is fairly stiff when received, likely from packaging. Spend 15 minutes drawing it by hand working out the tension, and you have excellent flexible audio wire. I recommend this product.

This is great speaker wire for the price. It certainly feel really sturdy and stuff for 14 gauge wire but I liked that about it. The only part that might be annoying to some is that it was hard to separate. If you use dykes or scissors to help get it started it certainly makes it easier to pull apart but still takes some strength. Stripping the insulation took some extra time but not much. With proper wire strippers I made my first cut, rotated the wire for the second cut and then I was able to slide the insulation off using the wire strippers. Twisting the wire you can feel that it’s quality - I actually poked myself a few times because the strands are so stiff - so that could be another annoying part of it. I installed banana plugs on mine so now that it’s done I don’t have to worry about it ever again. I’d certainly buy this wire again. I think 50ft for $18 or so was a pretty good price - and the wire is definitely quality.

I really like this speaker wire, (pure copper) feels heavy duty, made my speakers come alive. This speaker wire feels way better than what came with my speakers. I would recommend this product and NO I did not receive any promotion for writing this review.

Great cable - 14 gauge is perfect for a small lounge room. I installed a new 5.1.4 speaker system using this cable along with a heap of banana plugs and a couple of speaker cable wallplates. Make sure you measure correctly (especially for in-ceiling runs) - I underestimated what I needed (I ordered one 100ft roll plus a 50ft roll). I had to order an additional 50ft roll later. Would have been cheaper to get two 100ft rolls in the first place. Love the red line on one side to indicate the positive wire - more intuitive than the usual white line.

The speaker cable is of good quality, thick 14 Guage but still manageable around corners. I used it for my Tannoy height speakers to complete my 7.1 setup. Highly recommended.

I bought this item three times: just to replace my 25 years-old Monster cable for speakers. The first time( 50 ft) didn't cover all my job.The second round did it all ; but my cuts in both cases were too straight, kind of too short, not allowing room for speakers cleanup and maintenance; as results some bananas plugs used in combination to perform the speakers wiring got slightly bent. The third buy is making some existing wiring longer and provide the ability for moving attached devices back and forth or around. The cable doesn't strech and is Oxygen Free Copper; the sound is perfect: fine, clear and clean, all great compare to the one of my old cable which was little heavy. In all it's a Great product for a fair price. Thanks!
