Great size for limited space. Cleans easily, drain plug fits snuggly, no leakage. Makes ice fast. Runs quietly. First cubes were a bit thin but second run the were perfect. First run took about 8 mins, further runs were about 4 to 5 mins. Read the instructions BEFORE making ice. Would purchase again.

Click to play video At about the size of a countertop coffee maker, this countertop ice maker from Kismile comes in handy for ice making. It's pretty much ready to go out of the box. Remove some tape, clean it, then it was ready. Simple to use, only 3 buttons for power, ice cube size, and cleaning. Pretty hard to mess it up! Also, to get started - just add water! There's a "max" line to stay below on the inside and make sure the basket is ready - the turn it on and wait for ice! I timed from the "on" selection until the first ice drop of Large cubes. It was about 7 minutes and I got around 8 cubes. Even the large cubes are kind of small (by local standards anyway). But they are ice, and that's what this is for after all... I changed to Small cubes and filled the basket but lost track of time. It was less than 2 hours tho. The basket was full and the machine stopped making ice. This is to be expected. But as far as functionality and Ice making, it did work as advertised. Maybe a little slow for you're planning relying on this thing for a party or large group tho. Meanwhile, the countertop unit is nicely designed and looks good. Pretty neat, clean lines, looks cool. It feels like it is built well. There are fans on each side that pull the air through. These are not overly noisy but you can certainly hear it. I'd put this in another room if people were over. Can't say for sure how long it'll last as it has something like freon in it I believe. So it should last a while but we'll see. Finally, I can say that there is something to the hollow ice cubes and consistency that I enjoy chewing on. Just one of those things, if you are so inclined. Nice little machine for ice making and I feel the price is fair.

Click to play video This ice maker works fine. However the sounds this makes are terrible. It’s Soo very loud I can hear it in the next room like it’s in the same room with me. I don’t know if there is something wrong with it or if it’s normal. It makes ice fine though. So I took away two stars for how loud it is. To me I do not love that.

is a solid countertop ice maker. I bought this to use when camping. Which will be this coming fall. To test it, we used it this past week. It is so easy to set up, and use it. Make sure you pay attention to the instructions requiring it to be upright for two hours before using. After removing all of the tape which kept all pieces in place during shipping, it is easy to start making ice. You open the clear door on the top. Take out the basket. There is a maximum word and line for the water you pour in. Add the basket that the ice goes in, and close the lid. Press the power button, then select small size or large size. In approximately 7-9 minutes you have the first 'batch' of ice. The first batch is on the thin side. After that, they are better in thickness and make a bit quicker. I have to say the small size is very small. The large size ice 'tubes' are really more like mid-size ice tubes.. The ice made is dome on one side, and flat across on opposite side. The middle of the ice piece is empty, which is nice. The amount of water that you put in, keeps making ice for a good while. There is a button that lights up when needing more water. The fans on each side do have a noise, but not outrageous, and you can hear it scoop up and dump the ice in the little bucket above the water reservoir. The ice tends to stick just a bit, if you let it go until the bucket is full or almost full. I used a butter knife, and the ice split apart right away. IF you put the ice in a freezer overnight, the ice definitely clumps together. I used a small, lightweight hammer to separate the ice pieces and there were still some that stuck together. Those seemed to stay solid longer in drinks, than the individual ice pieces. When done making ice, at the front of the machine, underneath the left side is the drain plug. Pull it out, and the water will drain out. When done draining, put the plug back in. Then wipe out the inside, and put away. It does have a clean button also, if you need to run the clean cycle after using, make sure to follow the instructions, and it takes about 30 minutes. Then make sure you wipe it out, if not using for a while. I do recommend this ice maker.
