Worked perfectly! I am 12 days post op bunion surgery on 1 foot with no pressure for 6 weeks. If not for this scooter I would be extremely limited in what I could do. First, I am 4’11. I had a friend loan me an adult knee scooter to practice before surgery. The knee rest did not adjust down far enough so I immediately ordered this kids knee rover! I think someone up to 5’3 or a petite adult could use this easily. I have hard wood as main floor and carpet in bedrooms. First 7 days I was mostly on crutches and pain medicine but once I was a little more steady I started rolling on carpet to and from. The scooter allows you to get up to the sink, toilet, bed, chair etc with ease and the ability to use both hands. The handle bars are high enough for the crutches to easily slide at the foam handle grip and ride with you if you need to take them also. The knee rover works awesome on hard floor and glides with much ease. You have to work a bit more on carpet. There is a pretty big turning radius so as you steady more and depending on the size of your house you will tend to pick up the front like a real bicycle to turn a smaller radius. The knee pad is comfortable without the additional purchase of the shepra cushion cover although I did get one just in case. The pad without the cover is anti-slip so it keeps you from sliding off. I find the cover is a little slippery and may not continue to use. I did have a little knee pain but adjusted my position and was more comfortable. The cover is made for the adult size so I had to use some safety pins to close the elastic opening to tight. The brakes work well and the convenient lock is a good safety feature. I have only been out of the house to the grocery store 1 time. I am not able to drive so don’t have to worry about that part but even as a passenger you have to get a plan of how you are going to get the scooter in the vehicle. If you have back or knee issues be very careful loading the scooter. Its a bit heavier than I expected. You may need to have your driver do that part. I practiced myself from level ground but I found backing up to curbs when possible is a huge help that allows a shorter distance to lift. It has a release tab on the front to let the handle bars fold but I found it to be very difficult. It is not made to be a quick release tab so it has to lay in the back of my Escape assembled. There is a convenient basket on the front but if you use the mount provided you won’t be able to use the release. I zip tied my basket a little higher in case I wanted to use the release. You can also hang a tote bag from the handle bars to give additional carry storage. Also, a regular purse in not a good idea. It does hang fine on the handle bars. Safety was my concern. It could be grabbed easily. I am not a fan of cross body purses but becoming a minimalist during this time is much less stressful. Great purchase and price for the mobility it provides.

We purchased this smaller version for my daughter who is 23 and approx 5'2 and it was a perfect fit! This enabled her to get around so much easier and in my opinion more safely than with the crutches. It was sturdy and she felt safe using it. It was used mostly used around our house, but also to get to the car and some outside the house trips! The handle bar lowers and makes it easy to transport in the car. The knee cushion was fine for her and she had no complaints about comfort, there's no sign of flattening or wear. She used this for 6 straight weeks and on occasion I checked the screws and connections just to make sure nothing was loose. I only needed to tighten the lever that allowed the handlebar to lower one time... all others seemed tight and working properly! and last but not least the pink color made her feel less like it was a medical device and more like a fun option..which helped immensely with the psychological aspect of dealing with the injury and the pain involved! I would highly recommend this particular knee scooter!

Love the basket and the scooter turns pretty tightly. Not helicopter tight, but workable. It's easy to assemble and gets the job done. I wouldn't use it outside because the wheels are smooth and seems to be solid (no air cushioning)

I'm required to keep weight off my foot for many weeks, following toe surgery, but at 4'10", I couldn't use a regular adult knee walker. This Kids KneeRover has saved the day. Both the handlebars and the seat adjust easily to a fairly wide range of heights, and the basket has proved surprisingly useful. It's also light weight, good for small users. It does drag a little on carpet compared to smooth floors, but it's manageable. It seems really solid and was easy to assemble. Note to other adult users: I did order the faux sheepskin pad for the bench, and taped some heavy upholsterer's batting under the pad, as I have a partly artificial knee that's quite sensitive to kneeling. Now I'm zipping around easily and am really happy with this purchase! Also important: when the Rover developed a loud squawk in the rear axle, I called the Knee Rover customer service line and very quickly got a solution. (The brake was grabbing.) They have videos on their website to show how to fix that and other minor issues. Very helpful.

I'm 59yrs old. 5'6". This is very good quality. Just had foot amputated. Will be a few months till prosthetic ready. This allows me more mobility. I wish the basket was adjustable. It's removable. But I wish I could make it higher.

I am 4’ 11.5” and about 145 lbs. This knee scooter works for me and is light enough to pick it up and readjust its direction when I’m in tight corners. I like that about it a lot! The wheels up front are small. If you look at some of the normal adult knee scooters, you will notice that the wheels are considerably smaller on this model. I don’t know how different it is to have larger front wheels but because these are small, I am able to maneuver tight spaces which is convenient. I had to play around with the height of the knee pad and the handlebars to find what works best for me. At my height, I am at the lowest level for the knee pad and the lowest level for the handlebars so if you are taller than me, you will still have plenty of room to bring up the handlebars and the kneepad I think this could easily work for someone who is even 5’5”. My only complaint is that the knee pad is a bit firm. The knee boot I have to wear has an air pump button on the front of it so it digs right into the scooter’s knee pad and is painful. If the scooter had a cushier kneepad, that would certainly help I ended up buying a sheepskin knee pad cover for the scooter and that has eliminated the problem.
