I am 5’ 2” and was able to adjust this to a comfortable height. I am recovering from ankle fracture surgery. The scooter’s small basket lets me transport (small ) objects around the house and the brake lock feature allows me to confidently rest my knee on the scooter pad, so I can work at a counter.

I am 4’11” tall adult women and I was afraid the adult size scooter would be too tall for my short legs and torso. The child one was perfect out of the box. It came about 99 % assembled. You just have to put the handle bars and basket on. Easy to adjust. The instructions tell you how to adjust breaks which I didn’t have to do and to make sure to tighten the wheels every few days if needed. So far I haven’t had to do anything to mine. I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago and I was getting very tired of crutches and they were hurting my arm pits and I felt very unstable using them and almost fell a few times which is scary. I have had no issues with my knee rover. It does take some getting used to and learning not to lean forward. Best to keep your center of gravity for better balance and maneuvering it. I have 2 more weeks till I get my cast off and wish I had bought this at the very beginning.

Purchased for broken foot with 6-8 weeks non-weight bearing; after 1 week on crutches I needed an alternative! If your Dr approves of a knee scooter and you are a lightweight adult/child under 5'5" this is a must. For reference I am 5'3.5" and weigh 112lb & this kids size scooter is ideal as is less bulky/heavy than others. Does not require that you inflate the tires, bonus. Some assembly out of box but wrench provided. It does not collapse as small as images & I couldn't lift in/out of car alone on one leg! but if someone helps & you have space in car/small suv it will fit. At 5'3.5" there is still room to adjust handlebars & knee rest higher (guessing 5'5" ish you'd still be comfortable - check max weight allowed). It is not perfect, does not turn on a dime so occasionally need to lift front up to make a 360 turn. My knee did hurt the first couple days felt like a trapped nerve behind knee, persevere. My suggestion is play around with the height. Knee must be at right angle and hips sit level. Handlebars at just below waist height. It does have a hand break which is nice but honestly it doesn't move around loads when stationary due to the rubber wheels. It does not remove the need for crutches which you still want for stairs. I purchased 2 scooters and kept 1 down and 1 upstairs. They are a good price point and have given me a lot of freedom. Mainly as it frees up your hands and saves your underarms/shoulders from strain of crutches. My family laughed at the basket but you will not believe how useful it is! I have not used on rough terrain (only the supermarket). Holds up perfectly for indoor & level pavement usage.

Let's see. My kid is about 46 inches tall, but has a long torso, and this does not go short enough for him, but it's better than anything else we've tried. We have it as low as it can possibly go, and he has to stand on the ball of his foot to touch ground in bare feet with his leg fully extended. If the knee pad were not so thick, it would probably be better with a shoe on. I don't see how this could possibly work down to 3'6. My kid is at least 3'9" and it's 3 inches too tall. Assembly wasn't particularly hard, but they sent two locking pins and I have no idea where the second one would go? Everything is secure. The turning was VERY stiff at first and I had to fold down the handlebar and use it as a lever to loosen things up (it would not turn right at all and left only a little at first, but as soon as it got a little loosened it was fine.) The brake was also too stiff. No way a five year old could possibly use it. I took it into a bike shop and they adjusted it for free until it was much easier to use and actually worked to lock the wheel in place. We added an after market water bottle holder to it, and my son is zipping around the house happily.

It was exactly what my six year old grandson needed when he hurt his foot. It was very easy to put together and took less than 5 minutes. My grandson enjoyed using it and was able to get around wherever he wanted.

The scooter saved our 7-year old with a leg-long non-walking cast. He didn't manage the crutches well but with this scooter was able to attend school and move around at home. The scooter is very heavy and sturdy. The break works well and it was easy to assemble. Only thing negative to mention is that our son would have needed the knee rest to be a bit lower than the lowest setting. It was tricky for him to maneuver around, especially without a shoe on the other foot.

I am really pleased with this pediatric / small adult sized scooter. It was easy to assemble, and it is very sturdy to use. I'm an adult, 5'1", 108 lbs, and this is absolutely the right size for me. I am easily able to use it on sidewalks and parking lots, etc. I don't think I have the strength / balance to use it over grass or a long stretch of uneven surface, but that is more about me than the scooter. I can carry it up and down a few porch steps, and can put it in my car, but it is 20 lbs, so it takes a little strength to carry. The basket is a real bonus, and is very helpful to have.

We just got this yesterday and my kid is so so happy to have better mobility while in her cast than with the crutches she was using. She headed off to school with exclaiming 'Weeeeee!' The whole time. It is the most excited and happy she has been since breaking her foot. If you can afford this, I highly recommend it.

es un producto invaluable, le arregla la vida a las personas que tienen un problema en una pierna o un pie, les da una libertad e independencia que no pueden darle una silla de ruedas o unas muletas, en verdad es un producto excelente, una estupenda idea

Great alternative to using crutches which can prove to be very painful and tiring especially if you have arthritic hands. Lightweight and well made and enables user to have free hands. Only down side would be the colours (great for kids) but this scooter is ideal for small adults and a more neutral colour would be appreciated. Keeps you sane when forced to be non-weight bearing for a number of weeks !

The scooter didn’t come with an assembly kit - and I can’t re order because there is no more available. Waited 2 days for it to arrive on prime & now I have to return it. My daughter was really looking forward to this as she can’t put any weight on her right foot & now we’re back to square one. Not impressed
