I have had this for a few days now, and I'm very pleased. I read the negative reviews before buying, and I don't know why people had problems. The mat is hard but pliable and unrolled easily. It took a few days to flatten out completely. I was going to put it out in the sun or use a hair dryer to soften it up to help it lay flat, but that wasn't necessary. It is very transparent, which let's me see the hardwood floor well. It does slide slightly at times, but the weight of my desk chair (pretty standard with rolling wheels) and it's rotation to allow me to get out easily minimized this. I suspect the people who had problems had different chairs or highly polished floors.

Great product to protect my hard wood floors from my office chair. The chair moves with ease across the mat, the mat stays in place and has not left any scratches or marks on my floor. You can barely notice the mat, it looks great, and I have ordered a second one for my husbands office!

Affect my title pretty well says it all. My hardwood floor was starting to chip and break and peel in places due to my chair and the fact that I am 200 lb rolling around on it awesome. It is the click lock type and where it connected was causing problems I should have used this man from the beginning. The mat does a wonderful job of protecting and it looks great even though the clear one does get some stuff under it and I have to move it to vacuum it is not hard to move. The slip resistance is terrible and the only reason I cut it a star is because it will slip constantly slide into my desk and I'm having to move it back and forth each day.

wish i got this sooner, it is a lifesaver and has saved my wood floors from a lot of scrapes. it looks great, my dogs hair no longer is an issue, its stickiness holds up super well, and very easy to install. it is also very soft, but you dont roll around on it easily either, its perfect in everyway.

I just had my hardwood floors refinished and the plastic floor mat I had needed to be replaced in my office. I searched office supply stores but all they had were the kind with spikes on the bottom, which is great for carpet, not so much for hardwood floors. I decided to try this one, I read the reviews about the curling corners so was prepared for that. It came VERY tightly rolled up and was tricky to unroll on my own, but after some gymnast moves I did it. I put some heavy items on each corner overnight and it worked great. Lays very flat now. It is clear so the floors look good underneath. The only issue I'm having is the mat slides around very easily even with my desk chair on the mat, along with me.

We got this after moving my son's desk from one room to another, the new room just had the floors refinished & where we moved the desk from had a round wear spot in the hardwood from his desk chair! Didn't want that to happen with the nice new floor, so we got this. It mostly flattened out right out of the box- just the corners curled a little bit--not a lot and it was fully flat within about a day. It's a good size + clarity is nice so I notice the nice hardwood more than this cover! It is also nicely low profile so it isn't like a platform but still feels solid. I would highly recommend this to protect hardwood floor from a rolling desk chair!

We just refinished our floors, so wanted to protect them from my office chair. Love this mat. It's not terribly noticeable because it's clear, and it's a flexible material, not rigid. It comes rolled up, and you lay the smooth side down, which ends up being the curved side down, which helps it to flatten out. Put some heavy books or something on the ends and it lays flat pretty quickly. The chair rolls so smoothly over it, yet it does not just run away from you either. The mat stays in place, but is easy to move if needed. The size is perfect for a simple desk like mine - plenty of room to put the chair in and out. Definitely recommend! Edited: After using this mat for a longer period of time, I noticed that it does in fact move around a bit. I wish it would stay in place better. Originally I had it under part of my desk where my desk was sitting on part of it. However when I rolled around, it started to bubble up on one side. Because of that I removed 1 star.

Got this mat to put under the chair in my husband's new home office desk so the chair won't leave marks on the wooden floor. El material me encanta, luce bastante resistente en ambas presentaciones: transparente y color negro. El negro se ve muy bonito, aunque con las llantas de la silla se ensucia demasiado. En mi caso no tomó ni 5 segundos. En el caso del transparente, que no me gustaba mucho al inicio, en mi caso es mejor, ya que no refleja tanto como yo pensaba debido a tiene una ligera textura rugosa (algo favorable para los reflejos), y sirve para lo que fue diseñador: proteger el piso. Me encanta, estoy satisfecho con mi compra.
