If your a dude, like me, who’s married and went with the 6mm wide, 18k Yellow Gold, heavy “comfort-fit” plain wedding band for about a thousand bucks like I did, I hope you learn from my mistake and buy the identical Sterling Silver version of your ring ahead of time for under $40. Story time. I wear my gold ring everywhere. Have for 3 great years now and I don’t much mind when it scratches or dings because it’s an extension of my hand and my hands do some things (mostly driving big red trucks and putting that wet stuff on the hot red stuff). I do however take my gold ring off when I use sandpaper to smooth out axe handles or smooth coats of paint between coats. Of course, as you’ve guessed, one day I took my ring off before leaving work to quickly sand and paint a small project and didn’t realize I wasn’t wearing my ring for a couple days, which is quite unusual for me, but none the less. The area of the project had been swept clean and the bin of sweepings had been emptied into a dumpster outback quite full of trash. Since the ring was nowhere to be found in the station, I did the deed, and emptied the entire dumpster onto a tarp down to bare metal, and replaced every bit of trash piece by piece, and sifted through the dust dirt and grime, even metal detecting in hopes to find the ring. I did not find the ring. I ordered this sterling ring, same dimensions as my gold to stand-in until I would inevitably replace my gold ring. Well I ended finding my ring two weeks later in the pair of pants that I wore home that day I left work because they ended up underneath a bin I removed from my closet, and there it stayed till I moved the bin and yeah… SO. I got the sterling ring, it’s heavy, it’s comfy, it’s cheap, and it’s silver. I’ll be wearing my sterling ring at work or when I travel from now on, and losing it won’t hurt nearly so badly. This ring is a bargain when compared to other sterling silver rings. Similar rings go for upwards of $50 or more. It looks nice and is comfortable to wear all day.

This is a high polished solid sterling ring; I got mine in the 8mm size so I could use it as a blank slate to engrave some trees on it with my dremel. It was perfect for that, however do know, as others have stated, it scratches easily. If the high polish is important to you, I suggest stainless steel which will resist scratches better than sterling. My biggest issue with this ring is it is not a true comfort fit. "Comfort fit" bands have a slightly inwardly domed band which makes it extra smooth feeling against the finger. It slides on easily and really does feel more comfortable. What this feels comfortable enough, it is not the same. Overall I'd order it again for the same purpose (to engrave) but not as a band to hold it's original condition with regular use. Good and solid for the price though!

This is a great ring! It's sterling silver so it does scratch but I am a man so I don't care. It is very comfortable, light weight, and durable. It has been through an interior Alaskan preparation for winter. I cut down trees, bucked them, split the firewood and stacked about 5 cords or more. Did maintenance on the wood burning stove and stove pipe, fixed air vents and piled trash and tree branches. It's been through two nasty storms and storm cleanup in just this last month. This ring is still usable and even though a little scratched it looks just great after all that. Good job little guy!

The ring is about 6.4 grams, making it have about $4.61 of silver in it. Being charged $37 for a Chinese made ring is a bit much, but there aren't many comfort style men's rings that'll ship fast and have a good return policy. If you have time, I recommend ordering a locally handmade ring of a similar style and price. You can get them from a website the rhymes with "Betsy". You'll have greater certainty that it is sterling silver, and it is always good to support the little guys. I have yet to test the purity of the silver, but it appears to have a rhodium plating. That's typical of a lot of silver jewelry to prevent tarnishing. When it gets more worn, I'll test it and update the review. In addition, the ring doesn't have the flat edge as depicted in the seller's image. The picture makes it look thicker and heavier than it actually is. There are no burrs on it or machine marks that I can make out, so QC is decent otherwise. Overall, it is a good piece if you need it in a pinch, but there are better quality products out there for the same price.

Bought this ring for a trip to Italy since I did not want to wear my diamond rings. I have worn it night and day for 16 days and I have nothing but good things to say about the ring. It’s comfortable and still looks great!! Yes it has a few scratches but no more than a 6mm platinum band would have by now. An amazing buy!!
