I am totally Surprised at how good these little dudes work! I don't have anything to compare them to since this is my first adventure into wireless guitar playing. I have have been playing guitar for 60 years though and I can tell you that this receiver and transmitter are every bit as clear as the expensive cable that I have always used. There is no noticeable delay and at least in my setup, no unwanted buzz or hiss, etc., just good clean guitar. I plug the receiver into a TC Helicon Perform-VG and out of the VG into one or the other of my two Hartke acoustic guitar amps. I could not be happier. The only thing that would improve this unit would be to have the ability to easily replace a battery, in the event that the battery runs out of "go juice" at a gig. A little slide tray that uses the round CR batteries, like in the Snark tuners would be super!!! I don't know precisely how long that they hold a charge. I've played 2 to 2-1/2 hours at a stretch without problems. But after playing, I put them on charge so that I'll have a full charge the next time I use them. I've read that some musicians have had a problem with the jacks not fitting tightly but the transmitter fits snugly in my Martin Dreadnought Junior, and the receiver fits snugly into the TC Helicon Perform-VG. If you want to try wireless without breaking the bank, then I highly recommend these. I like them so much that I've decided to use them full time and just keep a cable in case of some unforeseen circumstances.

First off I have never owned a wireless system. I have been playing live for 30 years I have mess around with my friends wireless systems before. But I simply have never trusted one enough to take it on stage with me so I decided to try this one out, considering the cost. I’m still not going to take it on stage. However, I did not notice a huge tonal difference, or any sort of loss. The battery is not great. And I comfortably got 20 to 30 feet away before it started getting noisy. Great practice tool though. And obviously it allows you to do a whole bunch of jack ass guitar moves since you’re not tethered by a cable. The look on my kids faces when they came out into the garage, and I was standing on top of the PA subs was worth the cost alone

So these actually work quite well, though the rechargeable battery does give out quickly. I use them at home to simplify hooking my guitar up to my amp, and I'm mostly pleased. The only two real issues are: 1) the battery life, if you wanted to use them live, I suspect you'd need for the gig to be an hour or less, and 2) they don't always fit stratocasters. Some strats they fit and are bit snug, but on some strats, the shoulders of the transmitter but up against the jack plate before the plug has seated. You could get around this with a short lead, and attach the transmitter to the strap, or let it dangle. I have one strat this fits fine, and another that it can't be seated in the output jack, so just be aware. Other guitars that have the jack on the edge of the guitar, or at a 90 degree angle to the top work fine.

great connection in the same area as the amp. I have not tried it from far away. Every time I recharge, the mating has quit. it's kind of a pita to keep resetting. However, the price speaks for itself. Sound quality and latency are very good.... overall, a fair product for cheap money.

I bought these for fun. I saw good ratings. I was amazed when they arrived. Where have these been all my life???? They work amazingly. Great clarity. Easy to use. They are small and out of the way. And it brings a level of comfort and freedom to playing I never knew could exist. Playing with these I realize how much I constantly fuss over the cord and my right leg. No more fuss! I’ll never go back. My only fears: I hope they last. Also, notice in my first picture how the receiver sticks out from the amps input Jack. I’m concerned something might hit it and bust something. But that’s it. I genuinely love this product enough that I wrote this whole long review and I took the time to take some good pictures. I’m even gonna buy myself one more set and another set for my buddy Mike for Christmas. Best gadget I bought since my new Boss RC500 and this cost $400 less. Lol. Buy these and you won’t be disappointed. Let’s just hope they hold up. I will try to remember to edit my review if these things give up life on me. But at $25 I’ll probably buy another. Last thought: I just decided I wanna try using these on my Roland TD25 electronic drum set and I’ll see where else I can incorporate these things. You can use like 4 or 5 sets all at once. Best music gear purchase in a long while. Buy an extra set for a friend. They will love you forever.

Worked well unfortunately my 12 yo was rough on them and they bent. Have upgraded to a model that has ability to flex.
